Incident Narrative
An employee had his left thumb crushed by the wheels of a semi trailer as he tried to avoid being run over. The employee was knocked to the ground and pulled into the wheel well of the trailer crushing his left hand and amputating his thumb. The employee also sustained injuries to the lower left side of his body.
