Incident Narrative
Employee was offloading a structural beam in a laydown yard. When the beam was lowered, it rotated, and the employee's hand was caught between the cribbing and bracing. As a result, the employee broke his third, fourth, and fifth fingers (metacarpals). The employee was hospitalized later that day.
