Incident Narrative
An employee was walking behind a ditch witch, digging a ditch for underground fiber optic lines. The equipment hit a rut in the ground and fell to the side, trapping the employee's right hand between the controls and a tree. The right thumb was severely cut and was barely hanging on by two pieces of flesh. The employee was transported and admitted to Grady hospital.
