Incident Narrative

Employee working in the Birchwood North Production area attempted to unjam the freezer tunnel with a tool. The employee reached in with the tool (a few inches) when the tool became caught and dragged her hand into the equipment. Her right index finger came into contact with a pinch point (a roller and the guard), amputating her fingertip.
