Incident Narrative

The employee had finished making a drop off at the Waste Management Landfill, when he observed his back gate was open. He got out of the truck, and went to the back of the vehicle to close the gate mechanism. The truck began to roll backwards, and the employee ran to get back into the vehicle. The employee fell, landing in the path of the vehicle. The vehicle ran over the employee, causing multiple fractures on his right side and a cut to his calf.
