EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS

Issued by Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) · Reported Jul 1, 2026 · 628 vehicles affected

What's wrong

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain MOPAR headlights with part numbers 68530384AD, 68530384AE, 68530385AD, and 68530385AE. The headlight wiring may cause the parking lights and daytime running lights to flicker on and off, or fail. As such, this equipment fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence

Parking lights and daytime running lights that fail to illuminate properly reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace the headlight assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Dealers will repurchase uninstalled headlight assemblies. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed July, 30, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 63D.
