EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HAZARD FLASHING WARNING LIGHTS

Issued by Orange EV · Reported Sep 12, 2025 · 1,378 vehicles affected

What's wrong

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and HUSK-e terminal trucks. The hazard warning lights may turn off when the ignition is in the 'Off' position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence

Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

OEV field service will install a new hazard light wire harness and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by November 24, 2025. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-07.
