What's wrong

Carparts.com, Inc. (Carparts.com) is recalling certain MH Taillights, models MHD730145, MHD730146, MHG730125, MHG730126, MHH730117, MHH730118, MHJ730143, MHJ730144, and MH Headlights, models MHK100169, MHK100170, MHN100189, and MHN100190. The taillights and headlights do not illuminate sufficiently. As such, these lights fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence

Insufficient illumination from headlights and taillights can make it difficult for other drivers to see the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

CarParts.com will provide a full refund, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 26, 2024. Owners may contact Carparts.com customer service at 1-866-529-0412.
