What's wrong
Indian Motorcycle Company (Indian) is recalling certain 2022 Indian Chief Bobber, Indian Chief Dark Horse, and Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse motorcycles. These motorcycles may be missing a belt guard reflector. As such, these motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Consequence
A missing belt guard reflector may reduce the visibility of the motorcycle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
All vehicles have been remedied. Owners may contact Indian customer service at 1-877-204-3697. Indian's number for this recall is I-23-05.
