Consequence
Inability to use the wireless remote controller may hinder the firefighting efforts, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Akron Brass will notify owners, and request them to return affected wireless remote controllers to Akron Brass for a software update to enable the sleep mode, free of charge. This recall began June 3, 2020. Owners may contact Akron Brass customer service at 1-800-228-1161.
