STRUCTURE:BODY

Issued by Southwest Products · Reported Dec 27, 2016 · 182 vehicles affected

What's wrong

Southwest Products (Southwest) is recalling certain model year 2013-2016 QP25, QP35, and QP45/50 trailer-mounted generator sets manufactured January 8, 2013, to November 30, 2016. The trailer tongue portion of the trailer may separate from the rest of the trailer body carrying the generator.

Consequence

If the generator section of the trailer detaches from the tow vehicle, it could be a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Southwest will replace the trailer assembly free of charge. The recall began on February 3, 2017. Owners may contact Southwest customer service at 1-602-269-3581.
