Defect Description
Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA (Yamaha) is recalling certain 2025 XTZ690 motorcycles. The turn signal lights may fail to operate when activated. Consequence
Turn signals that do not function properly may fail to indicate the rider's intention to change direction, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Owners are advised not to ride their motorycle until the remedy is complete. Yamaha will replace the meter assembly, free of charge. Incident date: Oct 20, 2025
Hesitation and jerking when holding a steady throttle causing popping to come from the exhaust. May cause me to crash due to inconsistent power and control. I reported it to the dealer. They didn't inspect it and only called the tech line. They reported back to me that its a normal operation.
