ENGINE Sep 25, 2018
THERE IS A SMALL MAGNET EMBEDDED IN THE KICKSTAND OF THIS MOTORCYCLE AS PART OF THE BIKE'S START INTERLOCK SYSTEM. THE ENGINE WON'T RUN IN GEAR UNLESS THE KICKSTAND IS RETRACTED AND THE MAGNET IS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO A SENSOR. THE MAGNET FELL OFF, THUS DISABLING THE MOTORCYCLE. THIS OCCURRED WHILE AT A STANDSTILL WHEN I TRIED TO START THE MOTORCYCLE IN MY DRIVEWAY.
