SERVICE BRAKES Nov 19, 2022
The the front brakes are soft and slow to engage when pulling the brake lever. However, when pulling the lever immediately afterwards, the brakes engage quickly and firmly. After a short period of time without engaging the front brakes, pulling the lever again results in soft and slow engagement. Slow and soft engagement of the front brake is a clear safety issue and may result in an accident. The problem was confirmed by an independent mechanic, Cycles of Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland. The vehicle has been repeatedly inspected, and brake fluids have been replaced three times. The issue is resolved for a short period but then returns.
