Consequence
An unexpected hybrid power system shut down may increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will perform a software update for the hybrid system. While car was in for oil change and tire rotation, it was noted that the driver's side front tire had substantial wear on the inside of the tire. It looks like the inside of the tire was ground down causing an indention. Mechanic thinks the belt may have shifted. Said he had never seen it before.
