RV- 2022 Thor Miramar 34.5 With 2021 Ford F53 Chassis I appreciate your attention because this is the BIGGEST issue and safety concern. We spent over 160k on this class A that doesn't even feel safe to drive. As the driver or passenger, we are white knuckled. There is no stability when driving. T... he steering wheel is all over the place. A gust of wind pushes us off the road, every bump completely jars the camper. This is absolutely horrible. It is unsafe and scary. We are very experienced drivers and have drove large trucks and fire trucks. But this doesn't compare to anything we have ever driven. But they said don't worry you can fix that: Install springs, shocks, sway bar, trac bar. All an additional added cost! 160k now add a 10k more to make it safe on the road. Why would Thor allow this on the road? Why build a camper that you know is unstable and then say oh you can add this to improve your drive. It's called taking the short cut, bare minimum to get it out the door. And it's a horrible practice. Why not add stability to the camper. Vehicle was parked in garage overnight in our house. At approximately 630AM, carbon monoxide detector alarmed indicating high CO levels inside the house. Source likely appeared to the vehicle- distinct odor of burned electrical wiring/insulation; vehicle felt warm to the touch. Vehicle was dead and ... would not start. Mazda app indicated critical warnings for ACTIVESENSE, hydrid battery, hydrid system malfunction, high voltage battery depletion, and charging system malfunction starting abruptly at 0210 hours and terminating at 0340 hours. Vehicle had simply been parked in garage and was not plugged in or charging. Last use of vehicle~930PM the night prior. There have been no prior warnings or indications of problems , vehicle has~1k mileage. Vehicle was purchased 7/5/23 and event occurred 7/30/23. Vehicle was towed and is in dealership currently. Mazada USA has been notified by us. Main concerns: 1. Spontaneous carbon monoxide emission of a brand new hybrid EV vehicle model that was parked in a residential home; not plugged in or charging.
