Defect Description
Strick Trailers, LLC (Strick) is recalling certain model year 2007, 2009, and 2015 Dry Freight Van Trailers, equipped with rear impact guard gussets 59653 and 59654. Consequence
If the rear impact guards do not meet safety standards, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy
Strick will notify owners, and dealers will install reinforcements, or replace the rear impact guards, free of charge. The recall began on February 1, 2016. Owners may contact Strick customer service at 1-704-436-2590.

Consequence
If the trailer is struck from behind and the rear impact guards do not meet the required standards, there is an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy
Strick will notify owners, and the rear impact guards of the trailers will be reinforced, free of charge. The recall began on December 5, 2014. Owners may contact Strick customer service at 1-704-436-2590.
