Defect Description
McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2010-2024 Rear Loader vehicles. The license plate light was installed in the wrong location and may not fully illuminate the license plate. Consequence
An improperly illuminated license plate reduces the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will relocate the light free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 2, 2024. Owners may contact McNeilus Customer Service at 1-888-686-7278.
