2026 KTM 390 ADVENTURE R

Travel Assist Not Available notification pops up on the dashboard and makes a loud distracting Ding noise randomly and repeatedly. Volkswagen has no fix for it except “replace the steering wheel” which I’ve done twice. They need to push a software update so I can silence this thing.

1. The Turn Signal Malfunction indicator is randomly triggered. Observation indicates this occurs when the ambient temperature is under 60 degrees. When the error code is displayed, the turn signals are non-functional. 2. The first time this occurred I was several miles from home at dusk. I had... to turn onto and off of a highway without turn signals. At that time of day hand signals are not easily seen. This is dangerous. 3. This is the second bike my dealer has recently sold with this issue. The dealer left my bike in an unheated area over night and were able to duplicate the fault the next morning. 4. An incident has been filed with the Manufacturer but they do not have a repair currently. They were aware of the issue. 5. The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle jerked and failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal, and occasionally the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was able to be restarted. The message "FOR... M" was displayed on the screen. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V766000 (ENGINE); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, the vehicle became difficult to maneuver. No warning lights were illuminated. Occasionally, the infotainment screen displayed a blank screen or glitched intermittently. Most recently, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to stop immediately. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
