Defect Description
THE STOP LAMPS ON THESE TRAILERS FAILED TO COMPLY WITH PHOTOMETRIC REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 108.
Consequence
INADEQUATE STOP LIGHTS CAN CAUSE MOTORIST FOLLOWING THETRAILER TO MISS A STOP OR TURN SIGNAL, AND AN ACCIDENT MAY RESULT.
Remedy
REPLACE THE LENSES OF THE STOP LAMPS TO COMPLY WITH FMVSS 108.
