SERVICE BRAKES Nov 23, 2025
My car didn't stop when I was parking. I went over the sidewalk and I hit the tree on the driver side passenger door. The tree and sidewalk slowed me down enough where I missed the head on collision with the building in front of me. I took pictures and reported it to my insurance.
Crash
STEERING Nov 19, 2025
My 2019 Jaguar F Pace has been leaking fluids for over 2 years. A mechanic repaired a coolant pump, however there continues to be fluids leaking. A mechanic informed me my car is making a sound as if the power steering is about to go, which will cause engine failure. After researching, it was brought to my attention this has happened to thousands of f pace owners. I am the only owner of my car which was purchased in April 2019, with 0 miles on it. It now has roughly 92,000 miles on it. I am concerned the engine will fail due to the faulty steering rack and believe this should be a recall. In my research, I found a customer that had to threaten a lawsuit to LRJ to have this issue covered at 100%.

Our vehicle’s exhaust camshaft actuator failed without warning and costed +$3K. The vehicle was only 6 months outside its warranty and less than 60K miles. TSB for our VIN was issued for Camshaft solenoids and the technician stated it could have prevented the actuator failure. The service tech also stated he believes the Jaguar-recommended length between oil changes plays a factor in premature failed of this component. It appears to be a common issue for this engine according to the service tech and F-Pace forums.

I PURCHASED A 2019 JAGUAR F PACE FROM A DEALERSHIP IN NEW JERSEY ON OCTOBER 5TH 2019. I WAS THE 2ND OWNER AND THE CAR ALREADY HAD 19K MILES ON THE ODOMETER. WHEN I PURCHASED THE CAR, THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT THE CAR IS WELL SERVICED AND MAINTAINED AND IS UNDER WARRANTY UNTIL 2024/60K MILES WHICH IS UNTIL 60K MILES OR 5 YEARS. SO I HAPPILY BOUGHT IT AS IT WAS IN A GREAT CONDITION. UPON ASKING THEM WHEN THE NEXT SERVICE IS DUE, THEY MENTIONED AT 32K MILES OR 12 MONTHS WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. ON SEPT 28TH 2020, MY CAR REACHED 32K MILES SO I SCHEDULED ITS SERVICING WITH JAGUAR DEALERSHIP (NOT THE SAME DEALERSHIP I PURCHASED MY CAR FROM). ALONG WITH SERVICE, MY CAR WAS ALSO SHOWING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALERT ON THE DASHBOARD. JAG DEALERSHIP DIAGNOSED THE ISSUE AND FOUND SOME ISSUE WITH THE TIMING BELT/TENSIONERS IN THE ENGINE OF THE CAR FOR THE REASON OF CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. THEY TOLD ME THIS WILL NOT BE COVERED IN WARRANTY AS THE CAR HAS NO PREVIOUS SERVICE RECORD FROM WHEN IT WAS 1ST SOLD TO ITS FIRST OWNER IN 2018 UNTIL THE SERVICE WHICH THEY JUST DID AFTER I BROUGHT THEM MY CAR. I THEM SPOKE TO THE DEALERSHIP FROM WHOM I PURCHASED THE CAR ASKING IF THEY HAVE THE SERVICE RECORD/OIL CHANGE RECORD ON THE CAR WHEN THEY SOLD ME. THEY SAID THEY CANNOT PROVIDE ANY RECORD HISTORY ON THE CAR. NOW I HAVE TO PAY $4100 FROM MY POCKET EVEN WHEN MY CAR IS UNDER WARRANTY BECAUSE THE CAR WAS NOT MAINTAINED AS PER JAGUAR GUIDELINES, AND SINCE I WAS TOLD TO DO THE SERVICE ONLY WHEN MY CAR GIVES AN ALERT WITH 32K MILES OR 12 MONTHS, WHICH IS WHAT I DID. ALSO AS PER JAGUAR MAINTAINENCE GUIDELINES, IF OIL CHANGE IS DONE, THE CAR IS GOOD FOR 16K MILES, BUT MY DEALERSHIP WHO SOLD ME THE CAR IS SAYING I SHOULD HAVE CHANGED AT EVERY 3K MILES I DRIVE WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY NONSENSE AND I BELIEVE THAT IS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD'VE BEEN EXPLICITLY POINTED OUT AT THE TIME OF SALE. I FEEL CHEATED.
