VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:THROTTLE
Defect Description
KTM North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2022-2023 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, and 2022-2024 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycles. Water could enter the throttle (e-throttle) control unit and cause it to fail, resulting in loss of drive power.
Consequence
Loss of drive power while riding increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy
KTM and Husqvarna dealers will inspect and replace the e-throttle control, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 30, 2026. Check engine light is on. Took to O'Reilly and had them put their tester on it to get the codes. Codes show P0700 and P1467. My cruise control and auto start will not work. My mechanic said this is an issue that should be fixed free of charge but no recalls show for my vehicle.
