A software error in the engine control unit (ECU), may disconnect the controller area network (CAN) communication and release the clutch, which can result ... Read more
Consequence
An engine stall or a loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy
Dealers will update the ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 6, 2022. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KNB.
