Consequence
In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Heartland will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. There is a possibility that the plumbing vent for the Black holding tank was not completed inside the wall to extend through the roof. The Vent does come out of the tank but only goes half way up the wall, and does not extend out the roof.
