EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS
Harley-Davidson Motor Company (Harley-Davidson) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Trike and CVO Trike and 2020-2022 Touring and CVO Touring motorcycles. Please refer to Addendum A for specific vehicle model details. Due to a software error, the brake lights may illuminate without the rider applying the brakes. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Remedy: Dealers will update the software on Touring and CVO Touring motorcycles. On Trike and CVO Trike motorcycles, a new pressure switch will also be installed. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 2, 2022. Owners may contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464. Harley-Davidson's number for this recall is 0635.

SERVICE BRAKES Jul 13, 2023
The hill assist(vehicle hold control) feature in the rdrs system wont release the front wheel brake as it is supposed to on steeper inclines which is the entire purpose of the device. It works on shallow inclines but on steeper ones it wont release. Causes you to miss gaps in traffic to pull out and requires some machinations of hitting brake handle or pedal to finally go with the potential now of rolling back or dropping bike if on an angled hill while attempting to turn the system off. Dealer says it is working as advertised which is incorrect. Literally the front end of bike drops a few inches when trying to pull out when adding power and releasing the clutch without the brake ever releasing. This has happened to me at least 7 times with no acknowledgement from Harley Davidson dealers.
