Defect Description
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC Hummer EV SUV, and GMC Sierra EV vehicles. Consequence
A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the rear drive unit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 16, 2024.
