The contact stated while driving at various speeds and depressing the brake pedal, the brake pedal felt significantly hard and the vehicle hesitated to respond, causing the braking distance to be extended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where one of the 12-Volt battery was replaced; however, the failure recurred. The contact replaced the second 12-Volt battery; however, the failure persisted. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing battery failure. The messages "Okay to Drive with Caution - Traction Battery Fault Detected" and "ASPC Not available" were displayed. The contact stated that the main battery was replaced. Additionally, the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V369000 (Electrical System); however, the failure increased after the recall repair. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, the front drive motor failed to shift into gear, causing the vehicle to stall. The message "Gear Box Failure" was displayed. The contact was unable to pull to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the drive motor and pawl actuator harness had failed and needed to be replaced. The parts were replaced. The contact also stated that water had leaked onto the dashboard through the windshield. The dealer replaced the windshield and the head display. The contact stated the brake failure had been recurring intermittently while driving. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The contact owned a 2007 Hyundai Entourage. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, another driver alerted her that there were flames coming from underneath the vehicle. The ABS warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over and exited the vehicle while it caught fire.... No injury was sustained. The fire department arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire. The contact was not aware if there were fire department and police reports filed. The vehicle was towed to her sister's residence and was not yet deemed totaled by the insurance company. THE AXLE FELL OFF THE VEHICLE WHEN BACKING UP IN MY DRIVEWAY GOING 1 MPH. ON EXAMINATION, THE 'L-SHAPED' METAL BRACKET WELDED TO THE FRAME ABOVE HAD BROKEN BELOW THE WELD AND ABOVE 2 BOLTS FASTENING THE BRACKET TO THE RISER OF THE TRAILER. THE WELDER WHO REPAIRED THE BROKEN PIECE OF METAL TOLD ME ... THAT THE BRACKET HAD A CUT BETWEEN THE 2 BOLTS AND THAT THIS HAD WEAKENED THE METAL BRACKET TO THE POINT THAT IT FAILED. I FEAR THAT THIS IS A SYSTEMATIC PROBLEM DURING MANUFACTURING WHEN THEY TEMPORARILY RAN SHORT OF THE STANDARD PIECE OF METAL AND GRABBED WHATEVER WAS AT HAND. IF SO, THIS IS AN EMERGENCY BECAUSE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THIS COULD CAUSE A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT! IN THE PHOTOS *DT THE TRAILER HAS AN L-SHAPED 'ANGLE BRACKET' WELDED TO THE FRAME, FROM THIS 2 BOLTS GO INTO A BOX-LIKE 'RISER' FROM THE SIDE THAT IS INTENDED TO RAISE THE TRAILER SEVERAL INCHES. THE RISER IS THAN ATTACHED TO THE AXLE THRU THE BOTTOM OF THE BOXY RISER. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BREAKAGE OF THE "ANGLE BRACKET" IS BETWEEN THE WELD AND THE BOLTS, IN THE METAL ITSELF.
