Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Legacy motorhomes, models 340BH, 340KP, and 360RB, manufactured September 12, 2013, to September 25, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with a seat belts whose shoulder belt may rest at, or below, the shoulder of the ... Read more
Consequence
If the shoulder belt rests too low on the torso, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy
Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install new seat belt systems, free of charge. An interim notice was mailed to owners on January 13, 2016. The recall began on February 1, 2016. Consequence
The overheating of the water may result in the release of steam, possibly causing the operator is to scald themselves and increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Forest River will notify owners of a field remedy as provided by Atwood to the Dealerships and O.E.M. A.
