(Godwin) is recalling certain model year 2010 Ford F-450; 2011 Ford F-550; 2012 Ford F-350 and 2013 F-350 Super Duty trucks modified by Godwin and equipped with certain Muncie Power Products PTO Assemblies. In the affected vehicles, oil may leak from the PTO pressure switch onto a thermal blanket covering the exhaust.
Remedy: Godwin will notify owners, and dealers will install a new pressure switch kit that moves the switch away from the exhaust system, free of charge. The recall began October 28, 2014. Owners may contact Godwin customer service at 1-800-892-0181.

Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. will notify owners and dealers to inspect the Muncie PTO pressure switch to determine if it is from the range of defective switches and if required, remove the pressure switch assembly and put a plug in the port where the PTO switch had been installed. LT275/70R18 E While driving west on I10 near Thermal California, the rear driver side tire lost 100% of its thread at a 65 MPH speed. When the thread separated from the tire it damaged fender area of the truck extensively and caused a violent throw and shake of the rear of the truck. The interesting fact is that even after losing 100% of the thread he tire steel belts exposed the tire stayed inflated at 80PSI. This fact is know because I was actively monitoring TPMS tire pressure while safely pulling over. The tries were inspected and pressure levels were checked prior taking off for the trip to Thermal CA to pick up the family 5th wheel camper. These tires supposed to have a thread life of 60,000 miles, mine had reached 32000 miles. At this point there is a huge concern and low confidence in Goodyear brand tire and this may happen to the other tires on my truck and may happen under the load of the 35 foot family RV. No one was injured, and no one reproduced this problem and the manufacturer hasn't yet inspected the tire. As it was stated there was zero warning from TPMs system prior to the failure.

2010 FORD F-350 6.4 DIESEL GOES INTO "CLEANING EXHAUST FILTER" MODE AND ENGINE BEGINS SKIPPING AT HIGHWAYS SPEEDS. WHEN AT A STOPLIGHT/SIGN, IT WILL ALMOST SHUT DOWN. WHEN ACCELERATE FROM LIGHT/SIGN, GREY/BLUE SMOKE STREAMS FROM VEHICLE. DEALER STATES THEY HAVE NOT HAD ANY REPORTED PROBLEMS AND CAN NOT IDENTIFY ANY ISSUES BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT RE-CREATE THE REPORTED PROBLEM. VEHICLE NOW HAS 14000 MILES. *TR
