Defect Description
Fontaine Trailer Company (Fontaine Trailer) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Fontaine HACCFON51CTS 40-foot container trailers. The trailers may be missing the rear reflex reflectors. Consequence
Missing rear reflex reflectors reduce the trailer's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Fontaine will provide the reflex reflectors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 5, 2023. Owners may contact Fontaine Trailer customer service at 1-800-821-6535, option 5.
