WHEN I COME TO A STOP, MY ENGINE OFTEN SHUTS ITSELF OFF. SOMETIMES WHEN I COME TO A STOP, MY ENGINE REVS ITSELF UP TO ANYWHERE BETWEEN 3,000 AND 4,000 RPM EVEN THOUGH I'M NOT TOUCHING THE THROTTLE. OTHER TIMES, MY ENGINE SHUTS ITSELF OFF WHEN I'M STILL IN MOTION AND I PULL THE CLUTCH LEVER IN. OTHER TIMES, I TAKE MY HAND OFF OF THE THROTTLE WHILE I'M IN MOTION, BUT THE ENGINE DOESN'T THROTTLE ITSELF DOWN. ALSO, MY ENGINE BRAKING WORKS INTERMITTENTLY. A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, THE DUCATI DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY SOMEONE TIPPING MY BIKE OVER AND CAUSING THE CHARCOAL CANISTER TO FILL WITH FUEL. I TOLD THEM THAT I DOUBT THIS WAS BEING CAUSED BY A FAULTY CHARCOAL CANISTER. THEY INSISTED IT WAS THE CHARCOAL CANISTER. I HAD THEM REMOVE THE CANISTER, BUT THE PROBLEM DID NOT GO AWAY. I'M SURE THERE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE ECU. THERE ARE EVEN YOUTUBE VIDEOS OF A GUY EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUE WITH HIS BRAND NEW DUCATI PANIGALE V2 A FEW DAYS AFTER HE BOUGHT IT, AND HE DID NOT TIP HIS BIKE. I BELIEVE THAT THE DUCATI PANIGALE V2 SHOULD BE RECALLED UNTIL DUCATI FIGURES OUT WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE ECU. THIS IS CLEARLY AN ECU PROBLEM, AND IT COULD LEAD TO SOMEONE'S INJURY OR DEATH.
