The inaccurate gauge may cause a driver to unexpectedly run out of fuel and the vehicle to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Bugatti will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel tank control unit and upgrade the software, free of charge. The recall began on May 23, 2016. Owners may contact Bugatti at 1-805-557-1050.
