The fuel pump is what the issues is with my 2022 Audi Q3 it has been replaced twice in three years of me having the vehicle the first time was in November 2022 a year after I got it came out of the store, and it would not start. The second time I was in a fast-food restaurant line, and it just cut off in line, so I had to try and get it started and out of the line before it cut off again got it tow into the dealership, and it was replaced again in November 2024.
Two issues: The rear view camera is not reliable. It sometimes fails to engage or becomes covered up by another graphics layer such as the user authentication screen. In some cases it comes late or the steering angles lines are rendered very late or missing. Second, the forward ultrasound park assist chimes often do not chime. The audio is ducked under other audio sources such as Spotify. This is quite serious and has almost caused some issues. Yet, if the alternate audio source is stopped, the adas chimes immediately become audible without moving the vehicle further. This issue has been reported to Audi for 3 years and despite best efforts, they have never applied a software fix citing none available. No dealership offers no remedy or escalation since it's hard to reproduce on demand. I have videos available upon request.
According to the owner’s manual, “Lane guidance provides corrective steering to assist the driver with keeping the vehicle in the center of the lane.” On delivery of the vehicle, I noticed that in highway conditions the system consistently steered the vehicle to hug the right side of the lane. I had to “fight” to keep the vehicle in the middle of the lane. Also, the Advanced Driver Assist Lane Guidance feature randomly shut itself off. I could switch it back on in the touch screen menu. Subsequently the Advanced Driver Assist Lane Guidance option completely disappeared from the menu. The only way to get the option to re-appear in the menu is to either reboot the Multi Media Interface or shut off and restart the vehicle. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Absolutely no warning when the Lane Guidance stops functioning and disappears from the menu. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? 1)The Lane Guidance does’t always work, allowing vehicle to leave the lane. (Note that when it DOES work the vehicle hugs the right side of the lane, distracting drivers in the adjacent lane.) 2)Attempts to get the system to work as designed causes a significant driver distraction. 3)Lane Guidance, promoted as a safety feature, is simply unreliable. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle manufacturer Audi of America (AoA) has offered suggestions to the dealer on how to repair the vehicle. Initially AoA told the dealer that the issue was caused by using a non-Audi charging cable in the USB port. The problem continued without anything plugged into the USB ports. Then on AoA’s recommendation, the dealer replaced a fiber optic cable. That did not fix the problem. No advice from the vehicle manufacturer is fixing the problem.
Two items: 1. Infotainment review camera does not show in a timely fashion. There is an open recall for this but my vehicle is not listed in the campaign. It is unclear why not. The firmware is from march of 2021 for a feb 2022 q3 build. I wish they would fix this. 2. ADAS park assist chimes do NOT always chime when other audi sources are playing. In particular, with Android Auto attached and after a previous phone call ends, park assist chime audio is not played. The graphical indicators may show on the screen. Other audio sources are prioritized such as android audio route guidance, or streaming audio.

My 2022 Audi Q3 was recalled for a safety recall related to a fuel tank internal vent pipe. I took my car to the dealer for the recall and after inspection I was told that my car did not exhibit the defect stated in the recall and did not need repair. Approximately 15 months later (total mileage 14962) the check engine light came on and after taking to the dealer for inspection I was told that the issue was with the fuel system but there was no repair currently available and that Audi was aware of the problem and would contact me. They deleted the code that would trigger the check engine light for this problem. Out of sight of of mind. If the initial recall was a safety issue and if the same or similar problem persists without subsequent recalls or repairs I am concerned for my safety and the safety of my family.
Headlights-Headlights are intentionally designed to accentuate two diagonal slashes ('/') in their beams. Consequently, when these beams project light, they tend to illuminate more of the front right side in the darkness. This shift in illumination can divert the driver's attention from the center of the lane towards the right, leading to an unnatural driving pattern and distraction. This effect is particularly pronounced in mountain passes, where the headlights tend to light up the ditches on the front right side instead of maintaining focus on the center of the road. I visited the Oakland Audi dealer for assistance, and they informed me that this design is intentional, and there is no corrective action they can take.
My vehicle was idling and came to a complete stop and stopped the engine and then an electrical malfunction message appeared and the car wouldn’t start back up. Various error messages started to appear on the drivers display (tpms, abs stabilization, lane assistance disabled)

We have spoken with the dealership multiple times about the safety concern of the recall on this vehicle. We have gotten nowhere with them. It is required that every vehicle have a backup camera for safety reasons and this does not work die to this recall. They are just dismissing anything and should be providing a replacement vehicle that does work until they are able to fix this problem.
The break and gas pedal are made of hard plastic and they are very slippery. The should have been made of rubber to prevent slippage. I’m my opinion this is a safety issue.
When I turn on child safety lock and begin driving, a warning message pops up on dashboard screen with the message “Child safety lock malfunction.” When the message pops up, the child safety locks turn off on their own.

Audi informed me that even though there was an initiated safety recall, and there was a test of our vehicle that confirmed the problem that the recall had identified such that the fuel tank should be replaced, they have recalculated the parameters for the recall and after further testing decided that the vehicle now is no longer unsafe. We do not believe them.

Component: MMI inconsistently plays parking collision chimes. Safety: Inconsistent chime playback may result in collision with objects during parking. Reproduction: Not reproduced by dealer. Sporadic 1 to 3 times weekly. Inspected by dealer: No. Difficult to reproduce on demand. Warning indicators: None. Description: The Audio MMI (MIB3) fails to duck audio sources consistently and as a result may play entertainment audio on top of the parking collision chimes. The parking collision chimes are not playing. Shifting out of drive into reverse or park and back to drive will cause the chimes to play without moving the vehicle further. Video examples available upon request. Site does not allow video upload. (Please add this feature).
Component: Brake pads and rotors Safety Risk: Distraction Reproduction: 100% reproducible on any day. Inspection: Inspected by dealer, dealer claims no malfunction. Warning lamps: None. Description: The brakes resonate in the calipers when creeping. The slip and grip of the pads on the rotors creates a tone that is possibly further amplified by the suspension springs. The car has 4k miles and has being doing this since the second day of ownership. Audi claims no responsibility and will not attempt to fix it. The noise is so loud that it is distracting and others often ask whats wrong with the car. They claim that this is normal. No other car of its class has brake noise to this extent.
The Audi MMI infotainment software will control itself. For example, with my cellphone as the main audio device, the software will randomly switch to bluetooth, radio, or XM. The GPS will stop navigating which is the biggest concern when it does happen. It is an instant distraction that is hard to ignore. Especially when navigation is needed. Also, the garage door 'button' does not work sometimes which is not enjoyable during the snowy seasons where I have to actually get out and walk across slippery ground to close my garage. I have video proof and showed it to Audi dealership in Westwood, MA. They told me there is a pending recall but no solution so they sent me back out with the car. I talked with Audi corporate online and they mentioned: "Can you confirm pending recall that you're referring to? I ask because I checked 3 resources and no recall is showing pending on your vehicle." I'm hearing one thing from Audi dealership, and another from corporate. I have not heard back from either since talking with them. I would just like some follow up and to know when a solution is available. This is very concerning that they say there is a known issue with no fix and send me back out with an unresolved vehicle. The software can be very distracting and unsafe when it does not work and does it's own thing by itself. Attached are two pictures of my service invoice. Please note: "Confirmed clients concerns, found infotainment recall pending for the vehicle. No software updates available at this time." I can provide videos I took on my phone showing the screen bugging out by itself if needed. Thank you for your time looking at this!

The infotainment system is damaged resulting in the display screen being blacked out. All of the safety features including rearview camera, parking assistance, Hands-free phone, and all other vehicle settings are not available. There are multiple warning notifications on the dashboard indicating a malfunction in the interior lighting, lane change, and parking systems. Even before the screen went out the rear camera would malfunction when the vehicle is in reverse. The sensor would cause the vehicle to abruptly brake even though there was no obstruction behind. The display failed on October 16, 2022. I took the vehicle into the Audi dealership for service on November 29,2022, however technician was not able to provide any information due to the manufacturer not having a solution to the recall. There is no estimated resolution date nor is there a remedy available for this issue. As a consumer I am very concerned that there is a defect involving the display screen and I am not comfortable driving. I rely heavily on these features when driving to prevent damage or injury. This is the second recall pertaining to the infotainment system within a year. This is very disconcerting because I am not able to use any of the features within the vehicle and the interior is extremely dark at night.

Driving on sunny day, 92 degrees. Turned AC on full blast and heard gunshot sound, sunroof glass completely exploded. Landed inside cabin and cut the driver and passenger, as the glass was incredibly sharp. Audi dealership will not even see vehicle, and stating that it is my fault. NO impact to glass whatsoever.

Tire size: 235/55 R 18 I bought my car on 10/2021. My car currently has 2,700 miles. My tires (all four tires) are suppose to be at 38 but every 3-4 days I have to add air because it keeps losing air. It’s gone down as low as 30. This issue started the end of March. I took my vehicle in for service mid April. The dealer stated that there are no wear and tears and no cracks but the tires keep losing air. I’m very concerned for my safety since I have to take the highway to get to my place of work. The warning symbol comes up and all the dealer did was reset the settings on my vehicle and add air. Something is wrong and it needs to be investigated. I’m very concerned for my safety and the safety of others.

2022 Audi Q 3 engine shuts off completely when stopped at light/stop sign. Has happened twice. Car will not move. Must be put back into park and re start engine. Terrifying when cars are veering away from the car to avoid rear ending disabled car.
The autopilot feature engaged and took control of the car. I could not wrestle control back even after I turn the car off and back on. I had to fight the car for 32 miles. From Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton, FL. This happened for the first time last night 12/31 at 12:01 am. And it happened again at around 12:20 am. There was no warning lights only a lamp turned on after it had engaged. It also started showing the two lines marking the lane where I was traveling. It made it very hard to change lanes as I had to fight the auto pilot. I was driving on HWY US 1. If this had happened on I-95 (the other preferred route) I am sure we would have had a crash, possibly with lost of life.

The Pre-Sense Front System does not work. Tested with low and medium speeds. Dealer tested with diagnostics and said it pasts tests. It is set correctly inside. Tested it again using "dummy" cardboard boxes. Does not warn me or apply brakes.
