While driving at a slower speed between 20-40 mph the car will have a power surge as my mechanic called it. The RPMS constantly bounce while driving. It is hesitant to accelerate and is riding rough at a low speed. This is a risk while speeding up in traffic or merging onto the interstate the car... is hesitant and can’t keep up with traffic which could cause a bad wreck. I had my vehicle at my local mechanic yesterday. It goes to my local ford dealer for inspection next week and they also told me they’ve had multiple reports of this issues from people. I have no lights on, on my dash and my local mechanic checked all my fuses and they were all good. He hooked a code reader up and there were no codes that showed up. The contact owns a 2020 Ford Explorer. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH, the vehicle began to jerk abnormally while shifting gear. There were several unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who determined that the transmission needed... to be replaced.
