Car is currently still at the dealer awaiting the replacement part and repair. Extremely disappointing that a vehicle with 13K miles has had these types of major issues. The dealer in Fort Collins, CO couldn't get the car for another 4 weeks to diagnose and the technician told my husband that he would just top off the coolant and keep an eye on it. They denied any issues with the engine gasket. When I called the Greeley dealership they knew immediately what the issue was and indicated they had repaired several Taos vehicles for this issue with the engine gasket.Read more

Winnebago factory installed Blind Spot Monitor System did not work since purchase, after local dealers failure to repair this and other defects, out of frustration we drove it 3000+ miles to the WGO factory repair center located in Forest City, IA. Contacted WGO factory service supervisor with failure details and was told we could either bring it back or take it to the local dealer again. Local dealer repaired per their repair order Doc #190571 dated 6-23-23. After being advised it was repaired we picked it up and it did not work from dealers lot. Emailed WGO supervisor, dealer service manager & service advisor. Local dealer has not responded as of 7-5-23, 10 days later. WGO supervisor responded to take it back and have the dealer work with our tech department. I had previously given the dealer all of the factory contact info I have and they are in-fact a WGO Flying W certified repair facility. This is a safety issue and a defective factory installed accessory that continues to be an unresolved issue. In researching I found on Facebook under the group- Winnebago Owners & Wannabes a 5-19-2022 BSM failure survey in which 105 owners responded the following- 30% No Problems, 29% Stopped working after driving on wet roads, 7% Stopped working after driving in snow/salt, 24% Never worked, 1% disconnected because of annoyance, 9% Combined, stopped working after other or works intermittently. I did not respond but would have been in the Never has worked section. This and all the online chatter would seem to indicate a high rate of units either not working at delivery or failing sometime after deliver. I believe this would cause a safety issue, in the event that a driver should be stuck on the side of the road, especially in bad weather, and cannot start the vehicle to move out of the way of any traffic or other dangers. I did question the manufacturer about this issue which is the most important to me, and they were VERY uncooperative. They would NOT sell me a replacement key fob (to keep as a backup) but would sell me one at a price over $300. I feel this especially is a safety issue. And actually the TRUNK of this vehicle has no key hole that can allow it to be opened except with the key fob. What if a woman has the keyfob in her pourse, lays it down to unload groceries into the trunk, and accidently closes the trunk lid. Then she cannot start her vehicle. And, what if a CHILD should get into the trunk and there be no one with a key fob to get them out. I would like to have some response to these issues. In my opinion, both the keyfob issues and the headlamp issue are vey important safety issues and need to be addressed. I feel that things like safety equipment (headlights) and access (an actual key and opening to use it) should be priced within the reach of ANY person who owns this particular vehicle. Fuel gauge (fuel level) and estimated mileage abruptly zero’s out and you get low fuel message regardless of amount in tank. Dealer stated they will show how to reset, but did not indicate a fix. Ford has known of a Service Trac fault appearing which disables the Anti Lock Brake, Hill Assist Control , and Cruise Control. Ford issued TSB 51210. The Ford F53 Chassis built for motorhomes has a Ford Factory Advance Trac Warning System. When this system detects a fault the chassis looses Cruise Control, Hill Assists Feature, and Anti Lock Brakes. The Ford Pass App records the faults; however once the Ignition is turned off it erases the fault from the onboard computer. Ford has issue a TSB SSM51210 to reprogram the ASB Module only when the

The problem with that scenario is that there are very limited dealerships and companies that will work or have the capability of diagnosis of the system. Safety issue for Continental Cross Contact LX Sport tires that were OEM tires on 2020 Acura MDX. I've had to have 3 nails removed from tires in just over 2 years of owning this car. So I've had tires inspected quite a bit. Also, every time I had oil changed (at Acura), they would rotate the tires and also inspected them. ... use they noticed uneven wear. Now at 29K miles, the current rear tires are at 4/32 and front at 6/32. Latest nail removal visit, the discount tire rep mentioned he was going to research these tires and why they would be wearing this prematurely. He noted the rear tires had exceptional wear on the outer tread and noted this could cause the tread to separate. This concerned me so I researched myself and found many instances of complaints where this line of tire has failed due to that exact issue, the tread separated and their tire immediately went flat. The driver had to get off the road quickly and safely to avoid a wreck. Further research revealed that this tire HAS been recalled, but only for 3 specific sizes, which does not include the size of tire on my Acura. The complaints covered a multitude of vehicle brands that most likely use these as OEM and a wide range of sizes of this tire line. Including Acura, Audi, Tesla, Chevy blazer, VW, and Jaguar. I believe the whole tire line needs to be recalled, not just 3 sizes, for everyone's safety.Read more
