I was driving back home when I suddenly heard a loud pop and my car seat belt immediately tightened up. I saw smoke inside the car and the screen in my dashboard said "airbag service" There was no air bag physical deployed in the car so I believe it happened internally. Now my driver seatbelt will not retract and the front passenger seatbelt will not come out.

I was driving on a straight road (daylight, dry conditions) in my 2022 Honda CR-V (mid trim level) using my adaptive cruise control. The closest cars ahead of me, and in the periphery, were at least three quarters of a mile away. All of a sudden, the car, independent of me, SLAMMED on the brakes. Fortunately, this did not cause an accident, but 10 minutes earlier, when I was on a crowded interstat
... e during rush hour, the result might have been very different. As I reflect on this incident, I realize that this has happened at least twice before. However, in those cases, I thought the front sensor had picked up a curved barricade or something. But no! Apparently the CR-V randomly slams on the brakes. Clearly this is a dangerous situation that needs to be resolved. Ideally there will be a recall within the next few months to replace whatever component is causing this problem to happen.Read more

On 3 separate occasions, when pulling out into traffic, the car wrongly senses oncoming traffic as being too close and slams on the brakes once you're out in a lane, preventing acceleration and leaving you stuck and at risk of being hit from oncoming traffic.

While driving in the highway at 60 mph, the top of the front grille flew off, hit the hood, and impacted the windshield before flying off to the passenger side of the vehicle. It impacted multiple locations on the passenger side of the vehicle as it flew off. Nothing hit the grille at the time it flew off. We were driving on a busy highway. Thankfully, the cars behind us were at a safe distance.
... If there were a motorcycle or another vehicle, it could have seriously injured someone or caused them to swerve their vehicle. Researching this online, multiple owners of the same vehicle have experienced the same issue. Many experiencing it when traveling at highway speeds. It seems like the thin plastic tabs that attach the top grille piece to the front of the vehicle are not strong enough to hold it. No damage had been done to the grille prior to the incident. I always use a touchless car wash, so it wasn’t loosened by that. I haven't contacted insurance or filed a police report. I'm hopeful the damage will be covered under the manufacturer warrant.Read more

On or about 9/22/24 I was driving on a parkway and was alerted by a high pitched alarm in the vehicle’s dashboard that the airbag had a malfunction and that the seatbelt was not engaged. I removed my seatbelt and clipped it back in but that did not stop the alarm. The vehicle continued to beep and say the airbag was malfunctioning. I made an appointment with Toyota service for 9/26/24 and when I

They proceeded to give me a new appointment for today 9/28/24, and when I arrived they once again turned me away explaining that today was not a good day for a diagnostic. They mockingly told me that my vehicle warranty was about to expire. Furthermore, the Toyota has refused to fix the recall issue, and now is refusing to even run a diagnostic test to see what the problem is with the airbags. I am afraid the airbags will fail if I am in an accident. This is a very dangerous situation. Please help me!Read more

I would like to file a complaint against Camping World RV at 15855 Smokey Point Blvd, Marysville, WA. 98271. We purchased our Winnebago 2023 View 24J on [XXX] and they failed to disclosed the recall of the awning on our Winnebago. My wife on 8/2/2024 contacted a Winnebago Customer Care Representative. A recall was posted and sent out to dealerships on the awning in early to mid-April 2024. While
... traveling the Winnebago awning and stairs both were sticking (not functioning correctly). They said items noted would be fixed before delivery date. We had to wait a week before we picked up our Winnebago. They showed us the awning and stairs worked. No one told us about the recall on the awning. Two weeks late we left town on a month long vacation. While traveling we stop for fuel the stairs kept sticking. Arrived at our first destination deployed the awning and it did not deploy, and the steps stop working. Plus I fell out of the door injuring myself. (I have photos of injury). They should have never sold us the unit in the first place knowing it’s on a recall list. If we would have known of the recall we would never have purchased this unit. My wife and I would like to exchange or move up to a better unit. When you buy new nothing should be wrong with it. We’ve gone almost two months without the motorhome. They prefer we take it home and wait, but no telling how long the wait would be. Camping World wants to be let off the hook for all the inconvenience and selling a motorhome with a recall. The Winnebago 2023 View 24J motorhome sits at the dealership Camping World. In summary if we had known about the recall we would have selected something different or upgraded to a bigger model we were considering. We’ve been truly inconvenienced and our summer plans have been ruined. I would appreciate being contacted in the near future to discuss a possible resolution to this experience. This is the 3rd failure we have encountered: 1st failure confirmed by Winnebago, and was replaced with like parts. 2nd failure occurred just prior to the 2023 recall, and was addressed by Winnebago Factory Service during recall by replacing parts again. 3rd failure occurred today. The current failure happened when the unit (2022 Winnebago EKKO) was parked in our driveway, not while travelling. Upon starting the vehicle, the alternator emitted a loud whining sound and subsequently provided no charging to the batteries. We are aware of the symptoms based upon our previous failures, and know of others who also had a Balmar failure after having the prior recall completed. We desire a lasting permanent solution for this problem as it has not been adequately addressed by the previous Winnebago recall.Read more
