LOST 3 AKURET LCT 225/75/16 TIRES IN ONE ROUND TRIP OF APPROX 156 MILES. TRIP TO DESTINATION WAS 8/12/15, RETURN TRIP WAS 8/14/15. THE TIRES WERE ON A 1999 WINNEBAGO MINNIE WINNIE DL MOTOR HOME WE PURCHASED USED. THE PREVIOUS OWNER STATED THE TIRES WERE PUT ON ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. THE TIRES APPEARED TO BE BARELY USED WITH MORE THAN 95% OR MORE TREAD. THE UNIT HAD SAT UNUSED FOR NEARLY 2 YEARS. WE CH
... ECKED TIRE PRESSURES IMMEDIATELY UPON PURCHASE AND TOOK THE RIG DIRECTLY TO A LOCAL SERVICE STATION TO BRING THE PRESSURES UP TO 70 PSI FRONT AND 80 PSI REAR. WE CHECKED TIRE PRESSURES ALL AROUND BEFORE MAKING THE TRIP ON BOTH THE RVS WE WERE TAKING. WE WERE ONLY ABOUT 20 MILES FROM HOME ON THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE WHEN THE FIRST TIRE ON THE DRIVERS SITE REAR OUTSIDE OF THE RIG BLEW OUT THE SIDEWALL. WE REPLACED IT WITH THE ORIGINAL SPARE A FIRESTONE. WE REACHED OUR DESITINATION AND CAMPED TWO NIGHTS. I NOTICED THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE APPEARED LOW THE FIRST MORNING. BEFORE LEAVING THE NEXT MORNING THE MEN CHECKED ALL THE TIRES AGAIN AND FOUND THE INSIDE PASSENGER REAR TO BE FLAT. THEY GOT IT TO THE CAMPGROUND MAINTENANCE BUILDING AND WENT TO CHECK IT AND FOUND IT HAD A BELT THROUGH THE TREAD. WE CHANGED IT TO A TIRE WE HAD PURCHASED FROM WALMART THE DAY BEFORE. WE STOPPED AT WALMART ON THE RIDE HOME AND PURCHASED A SECOND TIRE. ON THE RIDE HOME A THIRD AKURET LCT TIRE, THIS TIME THE DRIVERS SIDE INSIDE REAR THREW A BELT AND STRIPPED OFF SERIOUSLY DAMAGING THE COMPARTMENT BEHIND IT. WE REPLACED IT WITH THE SECOND WALMART TIRE AND GOT HOME. I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS MOTORHOME AND JUST BECAME AWARE THAT FORD SHIPS THE LARGER F53 CHASSIS' TO THE COACH BUILDER (THIS CASE WINNEBAGO) WITHOUT ANY WAY OF THE END CUSTOMER CHECKING THE REAR, INSIDE DUAL TIRE PRESSURE. THE ONLY WAY TO CHECK THE PRESSURE IS TO REMOVE THE OUTER TIRE AT $100+ PER TIME AT A TIRE DEALER (THEY HAVE TO JACK THE 26,000 LB. VEHICLE UP & REMOVE
