MY CAR WOULD NOT START BECAUSE THERE WAS A MESSAGE INDICATING THE STEERING WHEEL WAS LOCKED, BUT, IT WAS NOT LOCKED. I HAD TO TOW THE CAR TO THE SHOP. THEY REPORTED A DEFECTIVE STEERING COLUMN LOCK MODULE. I FOUND THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THIS CARS WHICH IS TOTALLY UNSAFE AND UNACCEPTABLE.

I HAVE VERIFIED THAT THE FUSES ARE GOOD, AND THAT THERE ARE NOW NO WORKING HEADLIGHTS ON THE CAR. HAD THIS HAPPENED AT NIGHT IT COULD HAVE BEEN BAD, VERY BAD. THANK GOD IT HAPPENED DURING A SUNNY DAY
