IT BECOMES EXTREMELY CRITICAL WHEN TRYING TO BACK UP USING THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. YOU CAN'T SEE ANY DETAILS AND I HAVE SCRAPED OBJECTS BEHIND THE CAR.

VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A 45MPH COLLISION ON 9/12/2017. FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WAS IMPACTED. THE COLLISION WAS SEVERE ENOUGH TO CAUSE THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG TO BLOW. HOWEVER, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT BLOW UP, DESPITE THE IMPACT HAPPENING ON THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE. A COMPLAINT WAS SUBMITTED TO VOLVO ON 9/19/2017. I RECENTLY NOTICED WATER INTRUDING INTO THE TOP SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD. THE ISSUE PERSISTED OVER THE COURSE OF A COUPLE WEEKS UNTIL THE WATER INTRUSION BECAME SEVERE AND RISKED ELECTRICAL DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE. AFTER CONTACTING SAFELITE AUTO GLASS I WAS INFORMED BY THE TECHNICIAN THAT THIS ISSUE IS COMMON ACROSS VOLVO VEHICLES IN HIS EXPERIENCE. THE TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD WAS NOT SEALED TO THE CAR

I HAVE VIDEOS AND PHOTOS OF THIS SAFETY ISSUE WHICH WOULD CAUSE THE WINDSHIELD TO SEPARATE FROM THE CAR IN AN ACCIDENT CAUSING SEVERE DAMAGE TO PEOPLE AND PROPERTY. LOOKING ONLINE I HAVE FOUND MULTIPLE REPORTS OF THIS ISSUE ACROSS VOLVO MODELS AND NO RESOLUTION HAS BEEN OFFERED. I THOIGHT MY TRANMISSION WAS GOING AT FITST THE CSR WOULD BUCK. THE OTHER DAY THE CSR JUMPED FORWARD. RACED LIKE BRIEFLY. TODAY MY ETS LIGHT WENT ON. ELECTRONIC THROTTLE SERVICE LIGHT. READING UP ON THIS STATES PROBLEMS NOTED BUT DEALERSHIP SAYS I HAVE TO PAY REPLACEMENT PARTS AND LABOR. I FEEL IT SHOULD B A RECALL. THIS IS DADANGEROUS AND EXPENSIVE
