THE TECHNICIANS CHECKED THE WINDSHIELD AND THEY COMMENTED THAT THEY HAVE SEEN A LOT OF VOLVO'S WITH FACTORY INSTALL ISSUES WITH WINDSHIELDS. I CHECKED YOUR WEBSITE FOR RECALLS AND THERE WERE NONE. WHEN THE TECHNICIANS REMOVED IT THEY FOUND THAT THE SEAL WAS NEVER BONDED TO THE WINDSHIELD AT THE VERY TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD AND THE WINDSHIELD WAS LOOSE ALL ALONG THE ROOFLINE. I'VE ATTACHED PICTURES. I BELIEVE THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY PROBLEM. I SEARCHED THE INTERNET FOR OTHERS THAT HAD SIMILAR COMPLAINTS AND FOUND A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH THIS SAME YEAR, MAKE, AND MODEL HAVE COMPLAINED. THIS SHOULD BE A MANDATORY SAFETY RECALL. THIS WAS TO THE POINT THAT SHE FELT BEING SUFFOCATED FROM PRESSURE ON HER ABDOMEN AND CHEST. THIS DOOR IS SUPPOSED TO CLOSE ONLY WHEN A SWITCH INSIDE THE TRUNK IS TRIGGERED OR WHEN THE KEY IS USED TO CLOSE THE TRUNK DOOR. NEITHER WAS ENGAGED AT THE TIME AS SHE STILL HAD ITEMS TO REMOVE FROM THE TRUNK. SHE HAS SERIOUS NECK PAIN AND NAUSEA FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. THE ABOVE INCIDENTS APPEAR TO BE CAUSED BY SOME SORT OF COMPUTER MALFUNCTION.
