THE CAR WAS DRIVING ABOUT 35 MPH WHEN THIS HAPPEN. ENGINE STARTED TO HAVE MULTIPLE MISS FIRE. TOOK IT TO A PROFESSIONAL SHOP AND CYLINDER 1, 2 AND 3 HAVE A WET SPARK PLUG. THEY DID MORE TESTING AND FOUND THAT THE CYLINDER OIL RING HAS FAILED. CAR ONLY HAS 81K MILES AND NEEDS A NEW ENGINE OR ENGINE REBUILD THIS IS BELOVED TO BE TO THE TYPE OF THE OIL RING THEY USED ON THIS CARS.

THE LOCAL MECHANIC CALLED BOSTON VOLVO SERVICE AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VOLVO S60'S HAS PISTON RING PROBLEMS AND TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO BOSTON VOLVO FOR CONFIRMATION. BOSTON VOLVO CONFIRMED VEHICLE HAS THE OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEM.

SINCE THE UPDATE, THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL IDENTICAL LOUD POPS, BUT THE AUDIO CONTINUED WORKING. THE SAME STATIC ELECTRICITY FEELING OCCURRED MILLISECONDS BEFORE THE POP.
