After 22,207 mi, the right rear wheel unit started making a clunking similar to a flat tire. I looked online and found TSB 22-2023 which states that a common problem with the Mach E one pedal driving is brake pad material gets fused to the rotor. I took it in for repair and the brakes are out of warranty after 18000mi. Average life of brake rotors FOR CARS THAT USE THEIR BRAKES is 30,000-70,000mi.
... If Ford knowingly continues to use brake components that become faulty and fail after such.a short time on cars that don’t regularly use brakes, this problem could cause serious brake failure in cases of emergent braking. One pedal users would not know their brake pads had fused to the rotors until too late and the braking system fails when they need it.Read more

Following up on NHTSA ID Number: 11632353: Per NHTSA's website: "If the manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for your vehicle in a timely manner, please contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at: 1-888-327-4236 or TTY: 1-800-424-9153 or file an online complaint with NHTSA." — I won't recount the full incident of original malfunction related to the PTU and now havi
... ng been issued safety recall. But to add further complication and still any lack of resolve, we received the notifications of issuance of a safety recall related to our PTU failure. However, all correspondence has continued to state indefinitely that the is currently no resolve available for the problem. Meanwhile, the additional safety concerns and financial hardships this has caused, are compounding. First off, when attempting to move the vehicle which is completely unable to be driven whatsoever, my family and I literally were going to attempt to push the car, as it's completely immobile by its own power. And worse and scarier yet, when we attempted to do so, we found that it could no longer be trusted to hold to it's spot, in the park gear selector position! And having the completely electronic parking brake only, and with a brand new battery now also completely dead mysteriously, parking brake is completely unusable. Only choice has been to keep the vehicle sitting up against wheel chocks on all four wheels. It has become nothing but a source of anxiety and worry about our safety, but also about our lack of any resolve on when, if ever, we'll be able to get it fixed, so that we can hopefully immediately sell it, to get it out of our worrying minds. Secondly, we bought a second car in order for my wife and I both to have, reliable transportation. She being a nurse with a full time position, we had no choice but to have an immediate resolve, whereas Jeep has given us no indication of any fix, at any time in the near future. Unacceptable and Jeep needs to resolve asap.Read more

Once the cruise control or adaptive cruise control is set, there is no indication as to what the speed is set to on the display. The only way to find out what it was set to is to turn off the cruise control then set a new speed. Also, when increasing or decreasing the speed control, there is nothing to indicate the new speed in the display. You must count how many times you press the + or - spe
... ed button to calculate the new speed. I believe this is a big driving distraction and could be potentially dangerous. You could also accidentally set the speed faster that you thought. All other cars with cruise control that I have owned or rented show the set speed on the display. According to online Dodge Challenger forums, this is a common complaint with this year and model car as well as others. The forum indicates that this may be a programming error/oversight. It has been into the dealer a couple times for several days. They confirmed that it happens on my car and all the cars in their lot of the same year and model. Stellantis stated that this was done by design since 2019 even though the owner's manual says the speed should show on the display. This issue has been present since I purchased the car in September 2023 and continues to this day. I, and others, would like the manufacturer to fix this problem. They acknowledge the issue exist, but continue to ignore it and refuse to fix it.Read more

There is a serious electrical issue with the Grand Design Momentum 397ths. There are twenty-three electric outlets throughout the RV. Two are located outside. Two more are dedicated to microwave and electric fireplace. The two for microwave and fireplace are on their own breakers. All other twenty-one outlets are on just ONE 15 amp breaker. Typically there is a maximum of eight outlets per 15 a
... mp breaker or a maximum of 10 amps on one breaker to avoid tripping the breaker. The outlet located on the side of the bathroom vanity under the sink in bathroom located in garage is not a GFCI although labeled as such. There are two GFCI outlets located in the front bathroom and the outlet beside the stove. In April of 2024 Grand Design took the RV from OH to Elkhart IN for repairs and address service bulletins for frame failure. I reported the issue at that time. I was informed the wiring of the outlets are wired according to specs and therefore no changes could be made. There is room for another breaker in the breaker box. We have been living in our RV full time and the breaker has tripped no less than six times per week. This constant overload is only leading to a fire hazards. This is yet another issue and example of potentially life threatening the RV industries refuse to make right.Read more

I bought a 2021 Bronco Sport Brand new and ever since the car has been a problem. The rear axle wasn’t getting enough lubricants so it was grinding and I didn’t know what it was at the time but I took it to a Ford dealership and was told after spending 200$ on diagnostic testing that absolutely nothing was wrong with the vehicle. The vehicle kept doing the same thing grinding noises so I took
... it in again and got the same results now mind you this is way before my power train was up. The car felt so unstable and unsafe it got to the point where I had to just leave it at the dealership until Ford could help me with some financial assistance. While at the dealership Ford told the mechanic to check the transmission and upon checking the transmission the mechanic found a problem. The total of repairs came up to over 10k for a vehicle that doesn’t even have 65k miles on it. I was sold a brand new lemon. This was my first new car purchase and it has literally been the worst experience in my life. The brakes were recalled the fuel injection system now the battery which I’ve already spent 500$ on a new one last year has guess what? Been recalled as of 1/17/2025. So after thousands of dollars in rental car and Uber rides which I have yet to be reimbursed for my vehicle is still at the Ford dealership has been there for over 3 months out of 10k in repairs Ford offered to pay only 4,100. What a rip off buying this junk was. I really thought Ford would do the right thing and take care of its customers but I was wrong dead wrong. Biggest mistake of my like.Read more

It is just not possible that I could have personally pulled into a parking spot at such a high speed as to cause such extreme damage to the vehicle! I did ask the shop to make sure the mechanic checked for any safety issues during repair, as I was concerned as to the cause of the accident. I have an impeccable driving record and I cannot explain how such an accident could happen! I had no issues with the car previously. Upon further inspection into the damage, on 1/3/25 it was finally evaluated as a total loss, as there was damage to the frame and other issues! I did receive a statement on 1/3/25 from the body shop that there was a "fault in the system, causing gas pedal lock, which might be cause of accident". I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding multiple ongoing and serious issues with my 2022 Hyundai Palisade. These issues not only diminish the performance and reliability of the vehicle but also raise significant safety and quality concerns. Below are the problems I have encountered: 1.Thermostat and Coolant System Defects: Like many other owners of the 2022 Hyundai Palisade, I have e
... xperienced problems with the thermostat and coolant system. My vehicle has exhibited signs of overheating, posing risks to the engine’s longevity and safety. 2.Radiator Leak: I have identified a radiator leak, which is troubling for a relatively new vehicle. This suggests a defect in the materials or assembly, as this should not be occurring under normal operating conditions. 3.Oil Pan and Filter Housing Issues: •The oil pan has developed a crack, which is highly unusual, especially since Hyundai has performed all of my vehicle’s oil changes. This raises concerns about part quality and service handling. •Additionally, I have noticed oil leaking from the oil filter housing. This leak not only raises concerns about engine performance but also indicates a potential flaw in the design or installation of the oil filter system. 4.Faulty Sensors: My vehicle’s sensors frequently activate without any nearby objects or obstacles. These false alerts are a serious distraction while driving and undermine the effectiveness of the car’s safety features. 5.Key Fob Malfunctions: While driving, I have repeatedly encountered the “key not in vehicle” warning, despite the key being present inside the car. This issue is not only an inconvenience but also a potential safety risk if it disrupts the vehicle’s operations unexpectedly. The combination of these defects is unacceptable for a vehicle of this age and reputation. These problems suggest significant flaws in manufacturing, design, or maintenance practices that Hyundai should address immediately.Read more
