A few months ago, started smelling faint fuel, the smell gradually increased. Took it to Land Rover dealership was told there was a problem with fuel tank fiange and gasket that sits on top of the gas tank. Was advised there was a recall for the same problem on other models but not mine. Due to the nature of potential hazard (fire, explosion), I wanted to make sure this was documented.

Twice while at a stop light with my foot on the brakes because of an incline, the engine sped up like it was grasping for air and the engine shut down. It started back each time, but the second time, my engine light came on. I called AAA since I am a member and went there for the repair. They diagnosed it as a brake booster problem and printed a copy of the Ford document sent to all US Ford and Li
... ncoln Dealers regarding Customer Satisfaction Program 13N02, supplements 2 & 3. AAA suggested I take it to a Ford/Lincoln dealer and have the repair made under the recall. However, when I contacted Ford/Lincoln, they declined to even look at my car and said the recall was VIN specific and my car was not listed. Interestingly at the dealer and when I called and talked to several people at Ford and then Lincoln, they all asked my mileage. My mileage is 134,000, and 13N02 says it is effective up to 150,000 miles. The Ford document does not mention being VIN specific and my car is listed, a 2011 MKX with less than 150,000 miles. Your site says there are no open recalls for my car as well. Thanks [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

On [XXX] I was backing out of our driveway on a clear day. Normally the 2024 Mercedes Benz GLE 450e would beep when I get near an object in the back. ... el base. Bothe the wine barrel and the mailbox were hit with the rear of the GLE. In the past the reverse sensors have worked sometimes fine and sometimes they did not work at all. I have brought the GLE to the local Mercedes Benz dealer. They replicated the fault(finding the reverse sensor was not working) and then remedied by installing a software patch and other work described in the work order that I can send to NHTSA. This may be an ongoing issue with the GLS models or other Mercedes models. It is too soon know for sure if the remedy by the local dealer has fixed the reverse sensors issue. To be determined in an exact amount, the GLE suffered thousand dollars(likely above $ 5.000) worth of damage in body work and repairs to the rear as a result of the accident. No injuries fortunately. Please investigate if this is a safety recall or other remedies may be needed for the GLE to keep pedestrians and drivers safe. Thank you. There is a recall on some of the make & models of my truck with different years but, my truck has been having the same issue & I believe that myself & my family may be at risk. The recall states that if the oil level in the ACS reservoir is below the minimum level, the oil may foam & leak out of the vent holes in the reservoir cap. The leaking of oil in the presence of ignition source can increase
... the risk of fire. I have been having to add two quarts of oil to my car every month for almost a year & there has been no oil in my driveway at all. The oil is going somewhere & I would like for my truck to be put on the recall list & have this issue addressed. My brakes also seem to have an unexplainable issue. Most times they're perfect but, sometimes they vibrate very hard when stopping no matter how fast or slow I'm going at the time. When I get them checked, I'm told that they're fine. This has happened multiple times, is increasing in frequency. Stopped in traffic at a red light. The Auto Stop/Start was enabled and activated when stopped at the light. When the light turned green, tried to go, but the AS/S system failed. A “No Eyesight” warning flashed and disappeared; various symbol lights blinked across the instrument panel. Turbo, Rear-Coupler, Engine, Actuator Car was squealing and I was told that the serpentine belt needed to be replaced. Replaced this. Car still squealing and took it back. At Infiniti - they look at the car and the tensioner is fine. Bu
... t my turbo is blown. How? So, they replace the turbo and then say the rear coupler needs to be replaced. Repairs done and Infiniti said all fluids are good, everything is great. However, I might see slight smoke and a burning smell for 100-150 miles as theres a thin layer of oil on the turbo that will burn off. Oil change isnt due for 5k miles and I checked before my short road trip - all is good. Past the 100-150 miles and the car is SMOKING and SMELLS OF BURNING... Call infiniti, this is normal it will go away. Check fluids again, as no lights on the dashboard and oil is fine. Come back to get my car, check the ground as I always do and no oil/fluid and proceed home. 10 mins from my house the car WREAKS of burning smell, will not accelerate, no dashboard lights. So, I sit there and let it cool down - check again everything looks good. Try again, car will not go. Fluids look fine - oil, no spikes in temp, and no lights. Next day, no fluids under the car. Car accelerates but lunges me then stops going. Car smells bad, smoke.. go to check the fluids and NO OIL in the car out of no where. Infiniti tows it and it sounded like it was going to blow up. Also, a tink tink tink sound started out of no where. This is dangerous as the vehicle could had started on fire. I still dont know what is going on as Inf. has the car right now. This is a major safety hazard as I found a LOT of reports on this happening to others with this specific model and year. I had NO issues like this until Inf replaced the turbo.. NONE!Read more

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson's Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system does not operate properly due to either a design flaw or a flawed implementation of the design. Hyundai's integration of Forward Attention Warning (FAW) with the ACC prohibits the driver from using ACC while wearing sunglasses. If one is driving the vehicle with ACC engaged and puts on sunglasses, the FAW flashes a warning on the dashb
... oard and disengages the ACC. In order to engage cruise control the driver must interact with the onboard video display system to switch from ACC to "dumb cruise". Obviously the driver's attention is distracted while manipulating the selection of cruise control. The driver is also forced to compromise driving safety because they are forced to choose between wearing sunglasses and being able to use ACC. Use of ACC enhances safety especially when driving into the sun or in low visibility situations. The incompatibility of ACC with sunglasses wear then compromises safety. To make matters worse the FAW options screen provides erroneous information. It indicates that the driver can turn off FAW, but turning it off does not in fact turn it off. Turning it off stops the FAW warnings only until the driver turns on and engages ACC at which time ACC apparently forces FAW back on and active. I took the problem to my local Hyundai dealer who confirmed the problem and indicated they could not repair the problem. Since I am considering a Georgia Lemon Law claim, I asked whether I needed to bring the car back since the lemon law gives the dealer/manufacturer 3 tries to fix the problem. The dealer indicated that would be a waste of time because Hyundai will not support/allow the issue to be corrected. The dealer indicated this is a known issue. An Internet search also confirms that Hyundai's FAW + ACC integration is flawed. Additionally it is not clear whether other enhanced vehicle safety systems such as automatic emergency braking are compromised by the wearing of sunglasses?Read more

We purchased this vehicle from a dealership in July 2024. The vehicle is only 2 years old and we have taken it to the dealership for repairs on multiple issues within the electrical components two times in one week. The first issue was the lift gate mechanism was failing which drained both of our batteries and the second issue was the horn failed. The horn is a major safety concern. Not to mention
... the fact that the horn parts are on back order, most likely due to many other malfunctioning horns in the Chrysler voyager. There were no warnings about when our horn actually started malfunctioning or anything until we tried to use it while driving and it failed to work. Again, I’m concerned as to why this particular issue has yet to be recalled considering the dealership stated that the mechanism is an electrical issue within the mother board of the vehicle. I’m also concerned as to why this mechanism would fail in just a two year old vehicle. I’ve never had a vehicles horn go out ever in my ownership of cars. This particular situation in my opinion needs to have an official recall as well as reimbursement for the failed mechanisms.Read more
