Shortly after leaving my house I glanced at the digital readout for my speed and noticed that the instrument cluster was blank. I pulled over, stopped my Jeep, then restarted it to see if that would correct it, which it did not. I took it to a reputable auto/electrical garage who at first noticed a master fuse block blown and replaced the fuse block. That didn't correct the instrument cluster howe
... ver but they did find a recall 30B for 2020 Jeep Wrangler. I called Stellantis (1 800 334 9200) today, Feb 16th . I was told by 3 different people in 3 different departments that even though there is a safety recall on 2020 Jeeps my VIN# isn't included. I asked why not and was told that it depended where the Jeep was made. They also told me that the repair will be at my expense. This doesn't seem fair to me because the recall is a safety issue to replace the instrument panel cluster free of charge. Just because my Jeep VIN# wasn't included doesn't mean it wasn't going to fail like the others that were included!! I have no readouts on my dashboard and am sure it won't even pass inspection now because of that, let alone serious safety concerns without warning lights. I have to ask you, SHOULDN'T MY JEEP BE INCLUDED IN THIS SAFETY RECALL AND BE CORRECTED BY THE MANUFACTURER?!?! Thank you in advance for your consideration in this matter! Intermittently, for the past few months, either when I wish to back up or go forward, a buzzer will sound, the anti-lock brakes and eye-sight indicators on the dash will say that neither system is working. Incident Description: I am reporting a recurring and dangerous safety defect involving the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) on my 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. On multiple occasions, the vehicle has exhibited uncommanded steering input. Even when the Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) system is manually disabled by the driver, the vehicle software overrides this command and re-activates the system
... without driver input, causing unpredictable steering behavior. System Failures & Error Codes: The vehicle intermittently displays a "Check Forward Attention Warning System" failure. Dealership diagnostics have confirmed the following historical fault codes related to module communication: •C164286, C168886, C16B902, C28B981 Related Safety Recalls: This vehicle is currently subject to Recall 265 (NHTSA 24V561000) for main floor wiring harness chafing and Recall 288 (NHTSA 25V808000) for rearview camera wiring tension. I believe the uncommanded steering and camera failures are direct results of the electrical interference or harness damage described in these active safety recalls. Safety Risk: The uncommanded steering override creates an immediate risk of a crash, especially in high-speed highway conditions where the vehicle may unexpectedly pull against the driver's intent.Read more

Description of Incident: On February 9, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM, I was driving my 2021 Kia Soul on Calvine Road and Winterberry in Elk Grove, CA. A vehicle suddenly merged into my path. I immediately attempted to apply the brakes, but the pedal failed to depress or engage normally. Despite the imminent collision, the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) failed to provide any alert, and
... the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system did not activate. To avoid a high-speed, rear-end collision, I was forced to perform an emergency steering maneuver toward the curb and into roadside bushes to stop the vehicle. This maneuver resulted in severe mechanical failure, including a broken driver-side axle, damaged rims, and broken brake pads. The dealership (Elk Grove Kia) has provided an estimate of $9,461.67 for these repairs but has failed to explain why the primary safety systems and service brakes failed to function as designed during this emergency.Read more

The truck has two issues that may be related. The third brake light leaks water. they tried to fix it, it happened again. The leaks have ruined my upholstery of the back seats. It just clicks and you have to remove the battery or do w

The push button to turn the car on is a major pain and it happens at random times or after lots of rain. It can leave you stranded for an half hour or days. It also affects the power roof. I can't open/close the power roof without doing crazy things. The push button start is reported by thousands online. Dodge charges 50k and cannot provide basic start button that don't leave you stranded.Read more

At only about 6,100 miles and during my vehicle’s first service, the technician found grease leaking from the left front CV boot. The dealer stated this was caused by an external puncture, but they were unable to provide clear evidence, detailed photos, or a written diagnosis proving that the damage was external. The mark they referenced was extremely small and not consistent with a clear impact
... . A CV boot should not fail at such low mileage, which raises concerns about a potential early-life component failure or material defect. A torn CV boot can lead to CV joint wear, loss of power, or loss of vehicle control if it progresses. Because the root cause is uncertain and the failure occurred unusually early in the vehicle’s life, I am reporting this to NHTSA in case this represents a broader quality or safety issue affecting other vehicles of the same model.Read more

At approximately 5:50 PM on Feb 12, 2026, a collision occurred while the vehicle was under the control of "Full Self-Driving (Supervised)." While parked in a commercial lot, I engaged FSD to initiate a route home. A stationary semi-truck was positioned behind my vehicle. Upon engagement, the FSD system failed to detect the presence of the stationary truck. The vehicle initiated a rearward/lateral
... maneuver at a speed of 1 mph, directly striking the corner of the semi-truck. Safety Failure Details: The collision resulted in significant damage to the right rear quarter panel and associated sensors of my Tesla Model Y. Dashcam footage and system telemetry confirm that FSD was active (Supervised mode) during the entire duration of the maneuver. The system's occupancy network and vision suite failed to identify a large, stationary object within its immediate path of travel at a crawl speed. Request for Investigation: I am reporting a critical failure of the FSD software’s object detection and path planning capabilities. The system commanded a movement into a clear obstruction without issuing any takeover alerts or applying emergency braking, despite the low speed and high visibility of the obstacle.Read more

The liftgate opened and struck an overhead obstruction. Rivian has stated that the liftgate was initiated through the mobile app and that the system operated as designed. However, this suggests that the app
... or vehicle may permit unintended remote activation without adequate safeguards to confirm user intent or prevent activation in confined environments. If the liftgate can be triggered inadvertently (for example, through unintended screen interaction or background app state), this presents a foreseeable safety hazard. In garages, parking structures, or tight spaces, unintended activation could cause bodily injury to a person standing behind the vehicle, including a child, or result in property damage. Remote vehicle functions should include appropriate confirmation, or other safeguards to reduce the risk of unintended activation. I am submitting this complaint to document a potential safety design concern involving unintended remote liftgate activation.Read more

On February 9, 2026, our 2023 Mazda CX‑9 experienced a sudden and complete system malfunction while being driven. Multiple system failures began approximately six minutes before the crash. During this time, the driver reported: • Total loss of steering • Complete brake failure • No response to acceleration or driver input • No ability to slow, stop, or maneuver the vehicle • No meaning

At the crash site, there were no skid marks, no braking evidence, and no signs of evasive action, consistent with a full loss of vehicle control. The vehicle only stopped after entering approximately two feet of water and striking a tree. The vehicle was declared a total loss. This incident represents a severe safety defect involving critical electronic and mechanical systems. A modern vehicle should not lose all steering, braking, and control functions under any circumstances. We are requesting a full investigation into the cause of this failure and whether similar incidents have occurred in other Mazda vehicles. We can provide photos, crash documentation, diagnostic information, and driver statements upon request.Read more

My 2020 Ford Edge Titanium experienced a complete transmission failure at just 65,898 miles—less than 6,000 miles beyond the factory warranty. Fortunately, I had purchased a Lifetime Limited Warranty through a third-party provider, American Colonial Administration, LLC. During my research on the 8F35 transmission, I discovered numerous consumer complaints, particularly affecting the 2019–2021

The warranty company covered $9,791.29, leaving me responsible for $1,804.98 out of pocket, in addition to $408 for towing and $421 for a one-week rental car. My vehicle remained in the shop for a total of 33 days, leaving me without transportation for 26 days. I contacted Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan to request cost assistance, given the documented issues with the 8F35 transmission. I was informed that no Customer Satisfaction Program (CSP) applied to my situation. I was also told that dealerships are independently owned and operated, which ultimately meant Ford would not offer any help—even though the failure resulted from a known problem with their own product.Read more

While picking up my daughter from school this week, I entered a school parking lot and began a low-speed right turn to pull into a parking space. During this maneuver, the car unexpectedly and abruptly accelerated forward. I reacted immediately and applied the brakes, but the car traveled approximately two car lengths beyond the intended parking spot. I came to a stop across two parking spaces. T
... his occurred in an active school pickup area with parents and children nearby. There were no cars or pedestrians directly in front of me at that moment. I still fear what the outcome might have been if anyone had been present. Immediately after stopping, I observed that the adaptive cruise control speed indicator on the instrument cluster was set to 15 and was crossed out, indicating it had recently been active and disengaged. However, I did not engage adaptive cruise control during that trip. Based on the car’s behavior and the display state, my best assessment is that adaptive cruise control was unintentionally engaged during the parking maneuver causing the car to attempt to accelerate toward a previously set cruise speed despite being in a low-speed, turning scenario. Again, I did not use ACC on this trip. A sudden acceleration in a school parking lot presents an extreme hazard. The only reason this incident did not result in injury or death was immediate braking and luck. There were no warning lamps or messages prior to the incident. The car has not yet been inspected by a dealer or manufacturer. I am aware of multiple publicly shared videos from other Mach-E owners documenting similar incidents, some resulting in crashes. This appears to be a systemic adaptive cruise control design or software issue that warrants immediate investigation and correction to avoid serious injury or death.Read more
