I have 98,000 on my Yukon XL Denali and I have a crack in the piston block as I was told by the dealer. I have an Endurance Car Warranty on the vehicle and the vehicle has been at the dealers since [XXX]. The warranty company is giving the dealer the run around where they have torn down the motor already twice to prove to them that there is a crack. Plus, there was no warning signs other than it n

The vehicle is presently at Palm Chevrolet in Ocala, Florida and Scott Kelly is the service manager. Can you please give me some advice. Middle of May 2024 car begins to feel like it's shifting when accelerating and stopping. Nothing found by Hyundai Service Dept. Lakeland. On apx. [XXX] while driving stepped on gas pedal and felt no power. Kept pumping the pedal & car started jerking. Managed to get to light and get in left lane to turn into plaza honking horn. Car slid to a stop at entrance. On apx. [XXX] my husband was drivi
... ng home and same thing happened. Managed to slide car into our driveway. Both times the car had to be towed to dealership. Two fuel injectors have been changed and when I asked them to change other two they said warranty would not allow. Worst case scenario is if this happens on the interstate traveling at 75 miles per hour. Not only could we be killed but others. Both times there was no warning lights or any other warning. The car just started jerking and lost power. It can very well cause a car to rear end us and a multiple car chain reaction hurting or worse killing others. I am filled with anxiety every time I take the car out for errands. I also saw a similar incident reported in the Better Business Bureau here in Tampa by another person. I reported my incident to Hyundai Corporation by phone and email and asked the rep to reported it to her superiors to see if they could just please let the dealership replace my other two fuel injectors & I was told they could do nothing. The dealership has told me several times the injectors must fail before they can replace. Apparently, the cost of the injectors is more than someone's life. The rear driver side tail light, brake light, and turn signal stopped functioning at one time while driving (leaving a parking lot). Warning indicators for all 3 appeared on the dash notice area. My warranty work is being delayed until my warranty expires. The dealership said I could take my vehicle to another location, but that would mean leaving it there for several weeks just to get it inspected. This other dealership is about an hour away, and I live alone, so this isn't feasible. Am I really expected to accommodate the dealership just to get them to honor my warranty? The engine is t
... icking at idle, which I understand could indicate a failing engine. My truck also has a transmission issue—it slams into first gear when coming to a stop. The dealership looked at it early this summer but said I’d be without a vehicle for a significant amount of time if I left it, and they didn’t offer a loaner. This truck was originally purchased for $38,000 and came with a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty. Additionally, the headliner leaked within the first few months of ownership. The dealership (Champion Ram of Athens, Alabama) tried to get me to pay a third-party contractor for the repair, but it was clear they were trying to sell me unnecessary services, so I declined. I took it to a body shop friend, who found that the cab seams were leaking due to what seemed to be a manufacturing defect. This issue causes moisture to affect the 10-inch Uconnect system, which malfunctions when exposed to water. My warranty expires very soon, and it feels like they're just trying to avoid fixing these issues. The truck currently has around 93,000 miles on it. Please help in any way you can, because getting help from Ram has been like chasing a chipmunk!Read more

After some investigation, I found that this is a common problem with this model car and year. If you wiggle the wiring leading from the trunk into the car, the camera may come back on. Once you wiggle the wires you have to gently close the trunk but if you open it you have to repeat wiggle then shut gently. Lately it appears more of a delay when camera is on which is a major safety issue. The camera shows that it is clear when actually it may not be. I was pulling out of a parking spot when the camera was on delay. Thankfully I was able to avoid an accident when a car was approaching.
