I am writing to formally file a complaint for gross negligence, excessive delays, and repeated mechanical failures regarding my RAM 2020 ProMaster1500 HR; VIN: [XXX] at the authorized dealership Bomnin-Doral in Miami, FL. A steering issue also persists: when turning the wheel fully to the left or right, it does not return to its original position and must be manually assisted, posing a serious accident risk, especially in turns under 90° or U-turns. The dealership claims this is “NORMAL,” which we strongly dispute. The transmission is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and other damaged parts by the GWC (POWERTRAIN PLUS) warranty. These problems have caused significant financial losses to my business, family, and me personally, as well as severe impacts on our health and emotional well-being. Personally, the stress and frustration led me to the Emergency Room at Jackson West Hospital, where I was diagnosed with an ischemic stroke (Right MCA Stroke) and later surgically treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital. To date, no one has contacted us or provided an effective solution, which constitutes gross negligence and a flagrant violation of my consumer rights. I request that this case be reviewed immediately, and a fair investigation be opened so that actions like this do not go unpunished. I also request full financial compensation for all damages, including emotional and moral distress, punitive damages, and a full refund of the vehicle. I have taken it to the dealer 7 times, and they say there is nothing they can do and to wait for a possible software update, but none has come and it has been over two years. When this happens, even if one is able to wade through all the settings menus and change setting back, some items cannot be reset (like the FCA off lamp). According to various Jeep owner forums, some dealers have been able to reset something and temporarily correct the issue, but they charge for this service, and the issue returns randomly again. Until this incident, we had no issues and believed that the remedy had resolved the defect. There is no mention on Nuna’s website that the harness may continue to fail even with the remedy cover installed, or that the remedy cleaning kit must be kept on hand for continued safe operation. Our child’s safety was put at risk — if we had not noticed the harness failure, she could have been unsecured in the event of a crash. Because the seat was unusable, we had to return to the store and purchase a new car seat on the spot in order to bring her home safely. I contacted Nuna to request a refund for the replacement seat. Their response was that I need to use the remedy cleaning kit to get the seat working again and that they could arrange a video call with a technician. However, the cleaning kit was not with us at the time, and I was under the impression that the installed remedy seat cover had permanently resolved the issue. The failed seat has not been inspected by anyone, and I am keeping it in its current condition in case NHTSA would like to examine it.Read more

When the cruise control is set and I go down hill my car increases the speed by 8 mph faster than the set speed. My car also makes a loud grinding noise when it does this. I spoke with different Toyota auto employees and some say that the increase in speed and noise are normal and others say the opposite. Replacement FORD crated transmission and new cooler installed at FORD dealership for a cost of approx $11,000 Canadian dollars failed 25 months later. Oct 2025. I am already paying $600 a month for this car, now they want me to pay an additional $1350-$1395 a month just so I can feel safe? This has been going on for roughly 7 months. Who knows how long a "solution" will take. 7 months x $1350 a month = I would be out almost $9500 on TOP OF my car payment with no end in sight. I feel like this is moving at a snails pace. ... sts. This type of failure is consistent with the known defects in the Theta II engine that have triggered recalls and extended warranties in similar Kia models. Although Kia has denied coverage for my vehicle, I believe this is a related safety issue. The vehicle stalled unexpectedly, creating a hazardous condition on the road. I was traveling with my toddler in the back seat and felt our safety was at risk. I am submitting this complaint because I believe this failure is not an isolated incident and should be investigated. Kia has refused to acknowledge a defect, but the symptoms match those in previous recalls for other Soul and Forte models with similar engines. I turned into a restaurant’s parking lot, found a spot and slowly drove into the lot, I eased off the gas pedal and gently applying the brake as the lot has a slight downward slope. When I reach the chunk (the parking block), I added more force to the brake, but I felt the brake pedal just sank, and the car lurched ahead, jumped over the chunk, and stopped at the curb which startled me. Luckily, all occupants were unhurt, airbag was not deployed. I inspected the car after parking properly, there didn’t seem any visible damage to the vehicle, although I couldn’t see the chassis system which I believed must had a few scratches on the underside. The technician failed to update/recalibrate the on-board warning system since last time I had the serviced at dealer, mainly for oil change on 3/14/2025. So, every time I turned on the engine, there is a warning message displayed as: "Maintenance Required Visit Your Dealer". This happened since the day after oil change. I thought it was the carelessness or absent- mindedness of the technician, so, I just ignored it. But don't know that has anything to do with this incident.Read more

On 10/9/25 said vehicle was brought to Central Florida Toyota (CFT) for the investigation of water intrusion into the rear passenger compartment. ... he entire carpeting system and the need to remove the vehicle bed to access the vents. Based on a musty smell CFT assumed that the carpet had been damaged by molds. Subsequently, CFT was requested to have the 2 vents replaced, only, and not the carpeting. In return, CFT stipulated that I must sign a health hazard waiver due the assumed (no evidence) moldy condition. Now, not only can 2 simple mechanical vents cause such an exorbitant fee to repair it has now evolved into a potential health safety issue. Yet, Toyota has failed to provide any caution/warning to the effect of water intrusion into the rear of the passenger area. No caution/warning in owner's manual that vehicle owner must periodically inspect the rear passenger for water, no warning tags/labels inside vehicle. On the other, my Toyota OEM floor mats have all sorts caution/warning plus installation instruction. It is recommended, as a minimum, Toyota must issue a recall to confirm the integrity of all vents in circulation. On my vehicle, the defective vent was due to bad seal which implies poor manufacturing. Secondly, the location of the vents is simply poor engineering. Even, if there's no damage to the carpeting the cost to replace the 2 vents would be $2,500 due to the need to vehicle bed removed.Read more
