The transmission on my 2018 Toyota C-HR has been malfunctioning, and there is a noticeable grinding or rattling noise coming from the front end while driving. The issue occurs consistently during driving. This problem puts my safety at risk because the vehicle hesitates to accelerate properly, and the noise suggests a potential mechanical failure that could lead to loss of control while driving.
... The issue has not yet been officially confirmed by the Toyota dealer, but I plan to have it inspected. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The problem started around 67,000 mileages in October, and there were no warning lights or dashboard messages before the issue began. The noise has gradually worsened over time.Read more

The contact owns a 2023 Lexus ES 300. The contact stated that upon coasting into a parking space, the contact tapped the brake pedal; however, the vehicle independently accelerated. In an effort to avoid hitting the building, the contact steered the vehicle to the left, away from the building; as a result, the contact drove into some hedges. The contact's foot was on the brake pedal throughout the
... failure, and the vehicle eventually came to a stop. The contact stated that a "Parking Support Brake Malfunction, Visit your Dealer" warning message appeared on the instrument panel. The air bags did not deploy, and no injuries were reported. The police were not called to the scene, and a police report was not filed. The building's hedges were destroyed, and paint marks were left on the side of the building as a result of the vehicle scraping the building. Despite the failure, the contact managed to regain control of the vehicle and drove home. The next day, the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it remained in their possession; the vehicle had yet to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.Read more

1. The driver side door has a rattling sound when driving. It sounds like the door is not shutting all the way. Air/noise comes through. The noise is annoying when driving and I am concern that the door will open. This does not make me feel safe. 2. Windshield is fragile. Within a month of purchasing my Camry, my windshield cracked (passenger side). A couple months later I see another crack on
... the drivers side. I am afraid that it will shatter soon enough and cause me not to be able to drive safely on the road. 3. Paint is already chipping on the hood of my 2025 Camry.Read more

While driving at both high speeds (highway) and local road speed limits, Toyota Tacoma's rear passenger side frame split completely in half. While performing maneuvers such as right turns, vehicle wobbled and I, driver, lost temporary control of vehicle. Upon further inspection, rear driver side frame also contains stress fractures which are symmetric to the rear passenger side of truck. Pote
... ntial for accident has increased exponentially. Pictures provided. Brought evidence of clear safety hazard to local Metro Detroit dealership at 773 S Rochester Rd Unit B, Rochester Hills, MI 48307 on 04NOV25, and called Toyota Corporate on 05NOV25. Toyota Corporate neglected my concerns about safety hazard and potential harm to myself and family. Safety recall needs to be issued immediately. This issue stems from a well known recall from Toyota of Toyota Tacoma's, 1996-2004, which contained an OEM defect of excessive corrasion to the frames, causing premature failure of the frames due to excessive rust build up which impacts frame integrity and increases probability of failures such as observed in my case.Read more

I have had this vehicle in for repairs four times since it was leased in 2024 for electrical failure. I contacted Jeep Stellantis and they have not responded. They have been reported to the BBB. This vehicle has proven unsafe.

Number one electrical system left side wire harness manufacturer installed in properly, not watertight and ran through a pinch point causing wires to break. Safety was put at risk due to power failure from fuel pump and brake lights failing which could’ve caused a potential accident. Been confirmed by an independent service center. Reached out to the manufacturer. They said there was no recalls.
... It was very unhelpful. On the failure happened a light did come on. Number two media end navigation system this is a safety risk because at certain times it will switch between screens at will by itself. They will also put calls on hold, causing you to instinctively reach for your phone and taking your attention from driving as well as switch off of navigation moving your attention from driving, this is a clear definition of distraction and not serving the purpose it was created for which is also been confirmed by an independent shop. I reached out to GM. They said there was no recalls. And there is no service light. P.s.I just found out that I could make a complaint here so I do not have any of my old documentation. I just went to the dealership this morning to try and get some help and I had no luck. They would not be helpful at all. They just want to sign me up for a service meeting and charge me another $500 to look at it only to tell me they can’t order me a wearing harness again.Read more

The high-voltage heater control module (also known as the PTC coolant heater / K10 heater module) has failed. This failure prevents the vehicle from providing windshield defrost while operating in EV mode, which is required for safe winter visibility. I live in New Hampshire, where winter temperatures routinely require functioning cabin heat and defrost for safe operation and compliance with state visibility laws. Because this is a high-voltage thermal management component, there is no safe aftermarket repair option. The inability to obtain an OEM replacement part for a safety-related system prevents the vehicle from operating safely in intended EV mode.Read more

I am the owner of a 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL with the 2.0L turbo engine, and I am writing to report a fuel leak issue that I believe is related to Recall Y10 / NHTSA Campaign 21V-665, which involves the high-pressure fuel supply line (Part #68297642AD). Given that my Jeep has the same engine, same part number, and identical symptoms described in the official recall — I’m requesting one of the following: That the dealer be allowed to inspect the fuel line’s date code and replace it under Recall Y10 if it falls within the affected range, or That Jeep/Stellantis cover the cost of the repair as a goodwill safety-related assistance, since the failure occurred outside the normal warranty but is consistent with the recall defect. On 8/12/25, my 2018 Kia Soul (approx. 126,000 miles) suddenly began shuddering at low RPM with a flashing check engine light, near-stalling, and smoke from the exhaust. A warning message appeared for an engine control issue. Prior to failure, the engine intermittently knocked and displayed an oil pressure warning light. The engine burned oil at an excessive rate between routine oil changes. At th
... e Kia dealership, diagnostic codes P0300 and P0303 were found. The dealer reported a burnt valve and seized starter, estimating $2,960 for valve repair or $6,437 for engine replacement, and stated these were not covered under Kia’s extended warranty or E2 Class Action Settlement because no P1326 code appeared. However, the symptoms match the rod bearing wear defect already covered under the E2 settlement. The dealer refused to perform the bearing clearance test (Kia’s required diagnostic for this defect) without payment, even though the settlement and extended warranty specify Kia must cover all inspection, diagnostic, and repair costs for potential rod bearing failures within the 15-year/150,000-mile coverage period. The engine failure created a serious safety risk when the vehicle lost power and nearly stalled in traffic. The burnt valve and seized starter are likely secondary effects of bearing-related long block failure. Kia’s refusal to inspect the vehicle without charge contradicts the settlement’s intent and prevents proper diagnosis of a known defect. I request that NHTSA investigate Kia’s handling of inspection and warranty coverage for vehicles showing these symptoms but lacking code P1326.Read more

I had purchased an extended warranty for the car at the time of purchase but it had timed out a month before I took my car in for the first repair….please Mazda stand behind your vehicles I am a senior woman with very little income and I will not be able to pay out of pocket for this repair and I CANNOT afford a new car… I would like to get reimbursed for my out of pocket on the first repair and get my car repaired this time as well under a warranty.Read more

I have taken my truck to two seperate ford dealerships. Both acknowledging something strange on the transmission with the hesitations, the jerkiness and the hard shifting that happens. The first replaced the trans fluid and the filter. The second dealer replaced the valve body. During the 5th visit. They had me drive around their foreman to show him the problems. While he did feel the jerkiness a
... nd hesitations I feel, he said that its pretty much not bad enough yet and that the dealership would be held responsible for the cost of a new transmission if they replaced it and ford deemed it not needing to be replaced. Ford corp told me they wouldn't intervene with their attempt to fix it. The ford dealer sent me home and didn't fix anything the 5th time, even after explaining I felt harsh jerking on the way home to the point it felt like it was kicking me and a bunch of white smoke came out of the tailpipe. I even provided them a video of the white smoke when completely stopped after had been driving for 3 hours. The service on this truck is completely up to date and absolutely no reason at 41k miles I should have all these issue with this transmission. Ford has been resisting to replace this transmission but is willing to sell me a $4k extended warranty. Its getting old. This saga needs to end. Ford needs to just recall these transmissions already. This fight has been ongoing long enough! And ford corporate wont even help me. During the 3rd and 4th visit they replaced the valve body sent me home and the next day I had to bring it back after coming out of my work and transmission fluid being all over the ground right after they "fixed" it. They didnt give me a tow truck but rather made me drive almost 20 miles to their dealership. They claim the transmission pan warped but they just didnt screw the pan on correctly and ensure the pan seal was in good shape.Read more
