My BRAND NEW car is suffering an ICCU issue. I first noticed the screens going completely black while driving. I then noticed that I can’t charge at all on Lvl 1 and Lvl2 chargers (AC), but I went to the dealership and the helped me charge on lvl 3 DC fast charging. This is an incredibly dangerous problem, if this results in my 12V battery dying, I could be stranded while driving.

I have noticed that my car is shuttering/vibrating. I feel it in the steering wheel/gas pedal to my seat. It starts at 35mph plus and at different speed intervals. I either have to decelerate or accelerate to get it to quit. My neighbor who is a mechanic at Maserati/Porsche dealer road with me to verify and also pulled up codes. None were set off. He researched complaints of same issues. Possible

I am reporting multiple safety-related failures with my 2025 Honda Prologue. The vehicle has an unresolved drivetrain/axle defect that affects safe operation, and the dealer has stated that axle components are on backorder with no repair timeline. In addition, the main vehicle control screen completely blacked out and will not turn back on. This screen controls critical vehicle and charging funct
... ions. Without it, I cannot control charging or access essential vehicle systems, rendering the vehicle unsafe and effectively unusable. Further, the charging port sensor failed to alert me that the charging port was open. Because no warning was provided, the port remained open and subsequently broke. This represents a failure of a safety-related sensor system that directly impacts the vehicle’s ability to charge and operate properly. The dealer has not provided a loaner vehicle or alternative transportation despite the vehicle being unsafe to operate. These combined defects substantially impair the safety, use, and value of the vehicle.Read more

At approximately 5 years and 2 months of ownership, with approximately 53,000 miles, the clutch slave cylinder failed in such a way that contaminated both the clutch and flywheel with brake fluid. Repair of this issue requires replacement of the slave cylinder, clutch, and flywheel, as described by Toyota of Pullman in Pullman, WA who performed the inspection and quoted the repair. The symptoms of
... this failure included an inability to shift the manual transmission between gears, most notably out of 1st gear to get to 2nd. This inability to change gears resulted in limited speed in traffic, and created an obstruction. In less fortunate traffic conditions, this speed restriction could have created a collision. Other owners of the same model vehicle online have reported active failures in traffic, some of which have resulted in damage to the transmission as well as the clutch and flywheel. Toyota appears to have redesigned the slave cylinder at least twice, implying that they know the parts for these vehicles are subpar, and there are no flywheels available for the repair, which also implies this may be an all too common repair.Read more

While driving, a warning message displayed on the dashboard stating that there was a fault in the electrical system and that I should pull over and stop the car. As I tried to find a safe place to pull over the car lost power and I pulled onto the shoulder. The shoulder was only as wide as the car. I was stopped on the side of a two lane road with a 55 mph speed limit. In order to exit the car I
... had to step into the travel lane. The electrical fault resulted in no power available to the warning flasher lights or headlights. This occurred at night with no street lighting to show oncoming drivers that there was a stopped vehicle immediately next to the traffic lane. This put me and other drivers at risk. The vehicle was towed to a dealer capable of working on this type of failure. The dealer determined that the failed component is known as the ICCU. This is a critical part and had been known to fail in this model. My vehicle had already received every software update in an attempt by the manufacturer to avoid the ICCU failure. The dealer replaced the failed ICCU with a new working ICCU. It is my understanding that the replacement ICCU is identical to the failed ICCU and a risk remains that the new one could fail as well with a loss of power while driving at speed.Read more

Trailer King RST 235/80R16: six of them on a triple axle boat trailer. Was towing a boat and experienced a blowout on the passenger rear trailer tire, of which we did not hit a pothole or strike debris. It bent the boat trailer fender and damaged several components of the trailer. It was identified by Discount Tire that the passenger side lead tire experienced belt separation, which is a manufactu
... rer defect and was most likely the cause of the passenger side rear trailer tire to blow out and cause excessive damage to the trailer. There are numerous other customers of this tire who experienced significant blowouts on their trailer, which poses a safety risk to all who own trailers with these Trailer King RST tires and those who travel the roads with them. The belt separation was confirmed by a third-party tire shop recognized nationally. I submitted a claim for the blown out tire with the company manufacturer, and they claim it was not due to manufacturer defect. Unicorn tire does not accept responsibility for the manufacturer defect, even though it was confirmed by the company discount tire. These trailer tires are unsafe. Bottom line: two of six trailer tires that were two years old and had less than 3000 miles on them experienced belt separation, one of which had a significant blowout that could’ve caused serious accidents. This is not an isolated case as other reviews have shown these tires to be unreliable and unsafe disregard the VIN associated with this complaint as it would not accept my trailer VIN.Read more

While driving under normal conditions, the Lane Keep Assist system on my 2025 BMW Alpina XB7 unexpectedly and violently jerked the steering wheel without driver input. The sudden steering intervention caused the vehicle to abruptly change direction and strike a curb, resulting in a loss-of-control event. This occurred without warning and could have resulted in a serious crash involving other vehic
... les, pedestrians, or roadside obstacles. Additionally, the adaptive cruise control system has repeatedly applied sudden and aggressive braking without an apparent reason or obstacle present. These abrupt braking events create a significant risk of a rear-end collision, as following vehicles are not anticipating such sudden deceleration. These issues involve advanced driver-assistance safety systems that are intended to enhance control and safety. Instead, they are operating in a manner that overrides driver input and introduces unsafe driving conditions. The servicing dealership acknowledged the issues and advised me not to use the Lane Keep Assist and cruise control features. Being instructed to disable safety systems due to unsafe behavior is unacceptable and does not resolve the underlying defect. Given the loss-of-control incident and the ongoing unpredictable braking behavior, I believe these defects present a serious safety risk to vehicle occupants and the public.Read more

In 2024, while the vehicle was still under warranty, we brought it to our GM dealer due to an air suspension fault. The problem typically occurs in extreme cold weather, and following that visit, we did not experience further issues during the remainder of that winter as it was never that cold again. However, the following winter the same issue returned and was diagnosed yet again, and this year w
... e are again experiencing the identical problem with the same diagnostic code which has been diagnosed by 2 dealers and a private mechanic in the last week. It has since become clear that the underlying issue was never properly repaired during the 2024 warranty visit. We recently learned that approximately 3.5 weeks after our 2024 service appointment, GM released a service bulletin outlining the correct repair procedure for this exact issue. We were not notified of this bulletin by the original servicing dealer. This information only came to our attention when we brought the vehicle to a GM dealer last week, where the issue was properly diagnosed and now they are refusing to fix it without us paying $4300 even though it was brought to their attention in 2024 while under warranty. A failed air suspension presents a safety concern, not merely a ride-comfort issue. When the system fails, the vehicle may sit unevenly or at an incorrect ride height, which can affect vehicle stability, steering response, braking geometry, and traction—particularly in cold weather and at highway speeds. Because the failure is intermittent and temperature-related, it is unpredictable and increases the risk of loss of control. The vehicle is not operating as designed when the air suspension is compromised. GM knows about this issue as they did indeed issue a bulletin that covers our vehicle and this was done when my car was still under warranty, but it was not brought to our attention that it existed until this year after the car's warranty was up. 2 seal kits, air springs and the struts!Read more

Driving on the highway at highway speeds, heard clanking then a loud bang, then vehicle would not longer respond to the accelerator so we coasted onto the median. We had the vehicle towed and found out from a Ford dealer that the rear axle had broken due to Ford's failure to repair under Manufacturer Recall Number23S65 NHTSA Recall Number23V896 and that had caused damage to the rear differential.
... We were fortunate not to have been in or caused a significant accident. I had the vehicle at a Ford dealer in Illinois in 2024, but the recall was not performed due to lack of parts. This incident happened thereafter, in November of 2025, and the vehicle has been off of the road at a Ford dealer in Indiana since. Same story, no parts. Ford offers no timeline for repair, advising it could be 3 months, could be a year - it is indefinite. I recently was advised that there are 70,000 orders for the parts for this repair, and although I am on the "emergency off road list" that is still 15,000 orders long. Additionally, I had the vehicle in early in my ownership window for lags when the transmission shifted at certain times, it was checked and given the all clear, but - intermittently arose - given Ford representations I ignored it but never felt the delays were safe as it slowed vehicle responsiveness, albeit it slightly. I now see active litigation around these transmission issues in the F-150.Read more

Yes, my car caught fire. It's at an impound currently. My clothes caught fire when I tried putting it out. The car could have been parked in my garage or been in NYC, with a full tank of gas, that would have caused serious damage. My insurance company is sending an investigator to look into it today. No, warning lamps, messages or symptoms.
