Toyota became aware of the problem with the middle row of seats in October 2025. We were not alerted until December 2025. It is now February 2026 and there is still no resolution in sight. I did not buy a minivan to be stuck being unable to use half of my seats and Toyota is taking too long to resolve this issue.

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2005 Toyota Camry. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 125,647; however, the contact found a repair bill from January 10th, 2018, that indicated that the mileage as 233,045. Additionally, a Carfax Report indicated that the mileage was 248,083 on March 15th, 2022.

Driver door lock actuator. When using the vehicles remote key, the driver door does not lock and unlock with the rest of the vehicles locks. This failure can cause theft of personal property in the vehicle or theft of the vehicle itself. The problem has been confirmed by other toyota owners with similar models. No warning lights of the problem appeared.

It has been over 6 months (5/15/25 to 2/9/26) since this safety recall was filed. Apon recieving the truck back, with in 200 miles, I've had the same hesitation with the engines as I had just before the first engine failed.
