On December 7 2024 I parked the vehicle in a driveway and left the engine running. The vehicle's gear selector was firmly in park and the emergency brake was not set. I sat in the vehicle for a few minutes waiting for my friend. While waiting and the vehicle still in park and still running, I exited the vehicle to adjust the back set. I left the driver door open, and opened the rear driver's side

I immediately stepped backwards and watched the vehicle roll backwards down the driveway approximately 5-10 feet. The vehicle then stopped. I then got into the cab and put the emergency brake on. The vehicle has had prior service for transmission shifting issues and was reprogrammed. This initially helped but over time the transmission began exhibiting shifting issues. In general, after start up, the first time the vehicle shifts from 3rd to 4th gear the shift may feel hard and as if the brakes are being applied. This occurs intermittently.Read more

The paint on my vehicle is peeling off- roof, around all windows and expanding. I went to a Toyota Dealership Part Counter to get touch-up paint and they told me that color had a paint recall. (Every time I wash the vehicle it gets worse.) I asked to speak with a service manager at Toyota, 11/2024 and was informed that the paint color (0070 Blizzard Pearl) had a recall for peeling off. ... recall solution is to bring the vehicle to a certified Toyota Collision center and they will repaint the vehicle affected by the recall. It's not a safety recall, but rather a CSP(Customer Support Program). Unfortunately, even if you service the vehicle at a dealership it is unlikely they would share the CSP information, only a safety recall information. Instead, a CSP is mailed to you. I contacted Toyota customer service and they mailed the CSP notice in 2020 to the previous owner's address. Toyota then extended the CSP expiration to 5/13/2024 on 12/11/2022, but failed to mail an additional extension of the CSP notice to me. Toyota did confirm they had my contact information during that timeframe. Toyota did send me other safety recalls from 12/11/2022 to 5/13/2024, so they had my contact information to notify me of the CSP paint recall. I was told since the CSP expired 05/2024 that they will not repaint my vehicle and I will have to pay to repaint. Toyota is being unethical, dishonorable, scandalous, shifty, discreditable, parsimonious and immoral. As they did not act with due diligence to notify their customer the paint was going to literally fall off of the car. I was laid off and can not afford to pay to repaint it. They need to act in good faith to rectify this issue and repaint my vehicle. Had I been notified 2 years ago, I would have certainly had them repaint it. Miracleously, she had minor external injuries but due to the speed of impact with the tree, she was flung forward and after the CT scan, we found that she had VAD with severe damage to both her neck arteries. She was taken to hospital in an ambulance, had a surgery and still has trauma and medical appointments to fully recover. In Mar 2024, there was always a software problem with My car failing to detect the car was open and hit the garage roof with the falcon wing. On another occasion, the car failed to detect my other car when it was too close to it and I had to apply the brakes although the car was to stop automatically. Tesla refused to treat this as warranty even though the car should not move when doors are open. After 6 months, I ended up fixing the car at a Tesla collision centre. After multiple follow ups via email, chats on tesla app and phone calls post the accident on Oct 2, 2024 with Tesla pleading with them to provide the EDR report and address the issue as warranty and not hearing back, I am logging this so that customers are aware of this dangerous flaw that can be fatal. It looks like Tesla wants to delay the case for long so that they can force the customer to accept a low settlement. I was also planning to buy a cyberbeast but not going to anymore.Read more

Driving south bout on Meadowbrook State Parkway about 1/2 mile north of the Southern State Parkway in New York State (Long Island) when a catstrophic failure of the front right tire occurred without warning or provocation. I struggled to maintain control of the vehicle while avoiding contact with other vehicles barely managing to get off the road. This tire was most likely defective and should not have failed. The vehicle was towed with the help of AAA to Mavis Discount tire who replaced the tires with a different brand.The seller and manufacturer customer service was god awful and didn't care. All four tires had to be replaced. NO warning indicators were present at any time. The cause of the catastrophic failure is unknown but like I said the tire appears to have been defective. Dealership attempting to sell a vehicle with an open recall was more than prepared to let me drive and potentially sell a vehicle with a recall open causing the rear tires to randomly lock up. Made problem known to salesman and said they'd take it off the market. Now, they lowered the price by $2600 as it was previously listed at $25,571, now listed at $22,971. Listing still not down.

Around 90,000 miles, the engine started leaking oil regularly, took it in for warranty. After repairs for gasket, then started burning oil and running of oil every week or two weeks, and I have to constantly refill oil. Took it again and Dealer told me I am out of warranty, then I called KIA USA and reported problems. They told me that they will get back to me and I am still waiting.

Upon visiting the dealership, I was informed that the issue was a manufacturing defect, but they refused to repair my vehicle because I had attempted to fix the issue myself. This worsened the leak, as they did not return my vehicle to its original condition. I was then informed that I would have to bear the full cost of repairs. I had no prior knowledge of any recall associated with my vehicle. After conducting my own research, I discovered that Toyota had acknowledged the manufacturing defect affecting my vehicle model but had not notified me or issued a recall. I reached out to Toyota’s customer service, and they assured me that they would approve the repair through the dealership. However, after approximately a month of waiting, Toyota informed me that they would not cover the costs of the repair, and they declined to take any further responsibility.Read more

I was driving and I began slowing down as I approached a red light. My vehicle suddenly stopped. I was unable to turn the vehicle back on nor change the gear. When I would press the start button while pressing the brakes, some dash lights would turn on but again I was not able to change the gear. After several attempts of turning the car on, the car started and I was able to change gears to Drive.

The service notes stated the vehicle was found with low oil levels and that no leak was found. They released the car back to me. Now, one week after I picked the car up from the Honda Service Department, I encountered the same issue again. While stopped in traffic, my vehicle shut down. I was unable to turn it back on nor change the gears. An orange steering wheel with an orange exclamation mark next to it popped up on the upper right hand corner of my dashboard along with a red battery logo below it. I was on the roadway unable to turn the car back on for approximately one hour. I have been trying for 3 years to get the airbags replaced that have been recalled due to safety concerns with Buick Service East Side Madison WI at 5402 High Crossing Blvd for the last 3 years. They said I have to wait for a letter to come from the Manufacture, which has never come. I printed out a recall letter that said my exact vehicle has a safety issue with the airbags and are recalled. B

I have been driving around for years with faulty airbags that I cannot find anyone to help me get them replaced. I am scared every day when I drive this car due to the safety issues with the airbags that no one has helped me with for 3 years. I continue to get the runaround. My car frame floods every time it rains. This flooding includes my sunroof drain clogging.
